It is a lovely hotel with an excellent re-furbishment. I did not have time to use the new spa but will make sure I do next time. One of the most comfortable beds I have slept in |

The booking was so easy, we booked as we were leaving as a last minute visit. Check-in & check out were speedy. The Hotel was very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The facilities offered by the Hotel were excellent. The food quality was exceptional. All round a very good Hotel we had a most enjoyable stay. Thanks to Booking.com for making it so easy. We could find nothing that did not meet or exceed our expectations. |

I found the hotel to be of a high standard. I found the staff courteous and polite. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel some attention to detail lacking, some minor repairs required in the bathroom not a problem for me only stayed one night however they need to be repaired toilet holder loose, door stop hanging off |

Hotel set in beautiful grounds with easy access to Chester. Staff very friendly and helpful. A bit too trendy and modern would have preferred a more Country House feel. |

Friendly, helpful staff that were not intrusive or pushy. Excellent appearance and decor, lovely room and a lovely, relaxing feel to the place..I am not easily pleased, but everything about our stay was first-class, and we most definately plan to return. |

The location of teh hotel adjacent to the M53 was excellent. We have been to Chester many times and the hotels position relative to Chester and the park and drive facility was what we wanted. The staff were most helpful at all times. |

The warmth and comfort of the small executive room was OK. The food. Over priced for the quality served in the lounge area. |

Friendly staff nothing too much trouble. The freshness of the Lounge and the history of the Restaurant. The choice of eating areas and room service.Grounds are lovely with ample parking. Disapointed with the black water mould on shower seal both inside and outside. Staff not knowing how to handle the food bookings between Lounge and Restaurant. Cooked breakfast by the time the egg order had arrived needed reheating on both mornings of our stay. |

Standard double room good quality for rate - large en-suite We had room service, and the food was a little dissapointing. Good menu, but quality not as good as expected. |

The overall standard was excellent. The comfort of the room was fantastic and really made our stay at the hotel a trip to remember. There was a wedding function on at the time we went to the bar for a meal and some drinks, so a lot of screaming kids running about. |

The helpful staff . and good facilities for disable persons. On the wet room the taps controls, having to go thought the cold water before the hot and by then the pressure was to much |

This hotel is great, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the setting of the hotel was very nice, the fountain and the well maintained grounds and was in a great area just off the motorway and on the outskirts of chester centre. |
