Nice hotel, close to the city centre but you will need taxis to get into the City

The air conditioning didn't work very well. Only one set of toiletries for two people.....

We pre booked. but were greeted warmly. the hotel was very clean. breakfast was very good. as there was a lot of guests overnight. so the staff coped very well. especially the young breakfast chef. who worked wonders. we would have liked to have gone to the steak and grill but the wife was very sick. so did'nt go. which was a pity as we were looking forward to it. we would go again when the wife is much better. I used the leisure facillites which was very good.

loved the staffs attitude and very helpful and polite, nice food, clean and tidy, reasonable priced.and the pool area and gym are exceptional.

relaxation in daylight !

My bedroom was haunted the bed was moving when i was asleep , i heard heavy breathing and room got cold , and the tv kept switching on and off very creepy ?

the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.

we felt rushed at check in, we asked for A room with A nice view - didnt happen - looked onto A roof. waiting over 10 mins in bar to be served. let down no draws in room to put things in!!!!

staff very friendly and could not do enough for you. Cookies on arrival very nice touch.

nothing of note in hotel, but M.P.W. food not what I expected.

Lovely staff great facilities in a lovely location.

Rooms were very basic for the price. About the same as a Premier Inn but the hotel facilities were great ..o

Was disappointed with the Marco Piere White restaurant the service was appauling - the manager gave us a discount but to be honest I didnt feel it was enough.

SPA was nice. Also it was included with your stay which was a nice bonus Food was great Rooms were clean with a great shower

Spa and cocktails

I cracked my tooth on a stone in the prunes in MPW spent the night in pain

Very friendly greeting on arrival by staff, plenty of parking, lovely grounds. Luxury feel without being too formal.

Expensive for just a one night stay. Would need to stay a bit longer to use the facilities to justify price.

Spa was good - very big, comfortable bed - good, friendly service - proximity to bus stop into Chester made travel into city cheap and easy

Bathroom not thoroughly cleaned- not very wide variety for continental breakfast eg yoghurts, crispbreads, cheeses

Excellent spa facilities

Dissapointed with Marco Pierre White restauraunt. Expected relaxing romantic meal for two, received roudy hen night! Not impressed.

The check in was fast and efficient and the free warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival were a nice touch. Our room was well equipped with a huge comfy bed, had a great nights sleep and we were not keen to leave the bed next morning. The bar staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good with a large selection. I would stay again if we were in the area

Just a couple of small things, the lager on tap in the bar was truly awful, completely flat. To be fair they changed the pint when requested but the replacement was not any better. Later in the bar we witnessed another person complaining about the quality of the beer, so I think this is something they need to address. Also the self service breakfast was a bit chaotic, lots of queues even just for a cup of coffee. If you have a buffet style breakfast at least bring the coffee & toast to the table please.

The room was excellent, with a very comfortable bed. A celebration cake had been provided for us, which was very thoughtful. The breakfast was delicious and such a varied choice. We have stayed here twice now, and will certainly be coming again in the near future.

Unfortunately the lifts were out of service, which did cause some inconvenience, however we were offered a room on the ground floor should it have caused us a problem.
