Location to town centre
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant and breakfast were lovely. The bar area looked very nice but I didn't use it. Free wifi and room service.
The room was quite small and very hot. Had to turn the heating down. The bathroom was in need of an overhaul and the ceiling was mouldy. The bathroom fan was extremely loud and the mattress wasn't very comfortable.
Hotel excellent position close to all amenities
Bed was past its sell by date
Staff excellent. Nice old building, interesting. Had very nice short stay very relaxing. Would go back again.
Bathroom needed updating but that is not a complaint.

The central location, and the fact that nothing was too much trouble for the staff
Everything was brilliant we couldn't fault anything! Definitely going to stop there again

Smell of fresh paint
A wonderful hotel, in a prame spot.. Lovely staff, and great guests... Thank you for a love stay.
The only Down side of our room was the shower, sadly it wouldn't stay on ended up putting a bar of soap under the switch for it to stay on.
Location to train station
Car parking on small car park opposite just about found room to park car park very tight and untidy
The hotel was located near the train station, very close to other amenities like the theatre, pubs, restaurants and shops. Wasn't sure where the parking was but it was easily explained by the receptionist.
Old bathroom suite but it was super clean so didn't mind.
I liked being in the centre of Halifax and going to the Christmas Services in the Minster. I was pleased that Charlotte at reception changed my room readily to one with a good outlook. I was warm and comfortable and enjoyed a good breakfast well served.
On my return in the evening the key card didn't work which meant I had to climb the stairs again. The light in my room 108 was a. It dim for reading
Another stay at the imperial. Great staff great hotel
Friendly staff and nice beds
I was upgraded from a single to a large lovely twin room with all the Laura Ashley accessories, everything looked to be brand new. Huge choice for breakfast for only £6.99
The car park was difficult to find for a first time visitor but the friendly girl on duty soon put that to rights, By no means a major problem
Facilities in room coffee and tea provided. Excellent breakfast. Very good service
Breakfast! Very attentive and helpful staff.
brown old fashioned furniture in bedroom. Carpets in the corridors and stairs in need of an update.
Although I am an early riser. The room I had was next to a main road and the traffic may disturb a later rise
Relaxed atmosphere and first rate food, very pleasant Staff
No complaints except perhaps a wider range of Wine and a Draft Ale might be advantageous
Very friendly, helpful staff
