The room I was given was clean & facilities good. The view from the room was very nice. The fact that whilst the room rate was quite cheap, it does not include breakfast. The hotel charges an additional £15.95 for this which seems extortionate. I wonder if they think they've got a 'captive audience' who will pay this huge amount? I certainly wouldn't! |

The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and the staff were very courteous. The bedroom was clean and spacious. However the corridor to the rooms looked shabby - carpet worn. Gives a poor impression - when other parts of the hotel are good. Contintental breakfast priced at £15 is a bit expensive. |

The room looked smart and was comfortable. It was good to have a radiator that we could switch on and regulate ourselves. The large, fully equipped gym was great. The staff on the front desk honoured our booking and readied the room when we arrived at midnight, despite having no record of our reservation. The room was a little musty. Could use an air freshener/pot pourri. |

Wonderful hotel, lovely position in the woods, quiet, super kind staff, new modern rooms, fashionable old style breakfast room (200 years old!), very complete breakfast. Nothing more to ask to an hotel. I definitely suggest it. Not easy to find without gps. |

My food was undercooked, The hall leading to the rooms were stinking of damp and my room smelt of damp. The hotel offers sky tv in your room and i only had 1-4 tv with poor pictures. The receptionist could hardly speak english and didn't know my company had booked for a conference |

It was in a nice location close to the City. The staff were very helpful and courteous, the room was clean. Toilets were spotless. In fact a lot of praise should go to the cleaning staff. The breakfast is expensive. |

Dining room service good food very good wait staff responsive breakfast offered variety foods some healthy selections. No porterage service on arrival. Room clean linen bathroom okay but heavy odor of mold and mildew in room permeated my clothing and visible mol on ceiling in bathroom. Air vent filter clogged full of dust.Hall overpowering odor? Very unheathful and upsetting potential health hazard to anyone immune compromised. |

Heater broken, bath plug stuck, room not cleaned, breakfast overpriced and sausages raw (taken off the final bill after I complained. Not enough staff, room service abismal. General strong smell of damp throughout the corridors and bedroom. Supposedly a four star hotel, I would give it one/none. |

The food was excellent, and the conference space was fine. We had a fine meeting there. There was a terribly noisy and messy wedding party there during our stay. I know the staff was as disgusted as well as the other guests were. |

We thought the staff in the hotel was very friendly and helpful, also the leisure centre nearby was very good to go and have a meal,as we did find the resturant very expensiveand was a little over our budget and you did not offer different menu. |

Rooms were comfortable and well appointed, quiet in the evenings. Excellent leisure facilities with pool, sauna/steam and very well appointed gym level of furnishing as you go further away from reception to the rooms was of poorer quality, i.e carpets dirty etc. |
