I loved the room itself and the food was great The steam room and sauna was out of order and although staff said that there was an alternative in the changing rooms we could not find it and no-one showed us where it was.

setting was good food fine overall staff fine Corridors, room and bathroom smelt damp decor tired e.g. window latches ill fitting and gap between them and window, shower continually dripped. Had to wait at unattended desk to check in and staff were not unfriendly but not very welcoming - felt I was a bit of a nuisance when staff arrived to find 4 people waiting to check in difficult in restaurant at breakfast to know who was staff and who was a guest

Nice clean hotel.Very good staff in restaurant.Excellent dinner.nice rooms.Indoor and outdoor swimming pool. No lift or help to carry luggage. At reception When I asked if there is a lift he said no.When I asked if there is any help to carry all the luggage. He was wondering what I was asking for.Got the keys and had to look myself for the room. All in all reception and the staff at reception lacks on the key skills of hospitality. After charging £150 per night.Asked for nice view room got a back yard view.

We've stayed here on a few occasions in the past and loved it. It is quiet (they also gave us a nice quiet room as requested) but really a quick hop across the bridge into Bristol. Room really nice and warm and cosy. As we are vegan we never eat at the hotel (loads of amazing vegan places to eat in Bristol) so can't comment on that. This would always be our first choice for staying in Bristol. Nothing - it was all good.

Helpful staff. Reception phoned me before our trip to check any special needs. Reception arranged a taxi return for a resonable rate. Parking was good. Furniture in room a little shabby. Previous guest had left a message to his girlfriend on the bathroom mirror. (Happy Xmas Zoe) which was amusing when the bathroom was steamed up. Breakfast was the biggest let down; bacon was inedible and sausages tasted off

It is a lovely warm comfortable hotel and the room and staff were lovely. Breakfast was served from 8am -10am on Saturday/Sunday. My partner had an appointment and was leaving at 7.30am and there was only cereal and toast available. I would have thought a 4* hotel would serve breakfast from 7am everyday!
