The Premier Inn Grimsby hotel has free parking and family-friendly en suite rooms, with an on-site Brewers Fayre restaurant serving good-value pub-style meals.

This small and friendly hotel is close to the centre of Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It is within easy access of Lincoln, East Coast resorts and the countryside.

Rooms a bit tired
Great hotel for the price and location was brilliant,. So close to town centre
Friendly manner and helpfulness
There was not a spare blanket with the spare pillows
Excellent location, right in the middle of town centre. Free parking and wifi.
Unfortunately, the hotel in need of refurbishment. Although, clean, very tired. However, I would stay here again.
Clean, friendly & has a restaurant with good food
On Friday night they had a jazz band, they were good but I hate jazz.......not their fault :-))
Central for shops
Charge for wifi Very small bathroom
Friendly . Welcoming . Helpful . Staff
Very clean. Attentive staff. Good food (Breakfast). Lifts very handy and accessible. Corridors etc. well-lit. Everything needed in the room, which was easily large enough for our needs. Nice large bathroom.
Groups and couples chatting loudly as they passed right beneath our window, quite late at night. Very easy to miss the quick turn into the little road leading to the entrance. If you miss it, there is no Left Turn (needed to get back) for a long way.
Car park was good .staff were ok
The bed was far to soft it was like sleeping on marshmallow. The lifts are so old they are scary so we used the stairs that are not cleaned often enough in the morning it was like walking through a toilet. Carpets in room and all over need updating they are worn out!!
It's a nice hotel clean fresh sheets
You won't get much sleep as it's next door to a night club and hearing them till 4am is very off putting
Most of it.
False fiire alarm going off when we were asleep!
Friendly helpful staff.
Small room. Carpet threadbare in places. In need of an upgrade.
Perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff.
Not much that I didn't like.
clean rooms friendly staff lovely restaurants good choice for breakfast weel presented and weel cooked
dated carpet in entrance! gives wrong impression to rest of hotel.
We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions after the racing trip to market rasen.the breakfast is a bit pricey but you can eat all you want.the rooms are spacious and the beds comfy.we will be staying there again in April.
The staff were pleasant. Location was handy for my purposes.
The room was extremely dated and old fashioned. Stuck in the 1960s probably when this hotel had it's heyday. My room was a bit dusty but on the whole the cleanliness level was acceptable. It was very noisy I could hear shouting even from the third floor. The room was hot and sweaty and windows only open an inch.
Location Quiet room Excellent staff
Room looking very tired. Only one set of towels for 2 people (realised too late).
Exceptionally noisey, 3rd floor room, and the noise from a function was continuous until 1230am. Carpet in bedroom was disgusting. Updating of room long overdue. Woodchip wallpaper !!, furniture well worn etc.etc. Complained to manager who gave us a discount and apology.
far to hot could not open windows for fresh air
The location was ok as near everything that was needed and the bed was comfortable and clean, even though due to single glazed windows, the night clubs around the hotel affect the relaxing in hotel room as can hear everything and wasn't great , another thing that needs modernised . TV was a good size though a bit of a plus point .
The pictures show on booking dot com and their website is nothing how the hotel and rooms look in reality in the St James hotel, very disappointed and quite miss leading . On the pictures it shows up to date and modern feel to the rooms and clean, but in reality they are old and run down and not clean looking and in need of tlc and revamping and modernisation on paintwork and throughout the hotel and in the room that we stayed in, in my experience and my other half experience in the room we stayed in on the top floor . doesn't feel homely at all and feels like a dodgy place. The loo aswell kept on blocking, was a cramped bathroom and the mirror in bathroom is not fit for purpose as marks all over it. Parking was not easy as not many of spaces. So due to reasons above I would not stay in the hotel again. Served a purpose for two days in Grimsby but wasn't enjoyable going back to the hotel in the evening though .
Wifi good. Receptionist very very welcoming
Looks like you need to revamp the place. Carpets worn
very convenient to bus train and town
I liked the hotel restaurant
Noise of outside
