The ambience, and feel of the hotel, plus the menu and food, which was refreshingly different to the normal we tend to get when we travel, as normally we stay in corporate hotels near airports. The Regent Suite which we stayed in was obviously near a function room and there was the annoying fact that staff or people were using a facility with a swing door that kept banging. |

Room was in newer part of the hotel and was quite modern and comfortable. Some noise from aircon units outside. The bath, which had a metal base coated with a white finish, had a sharp edge. My leg scraped across this edge when getting into the bath, leaving me with a painful wound. |

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Norwich. Although the servise is very much okay I would not qualify it as a 4 star hotel; 3 stars at the most. |

The staff were pleasant, the hotel wonderfully clean and the location was very central to the City. The only think I would comment on is the hotel doorways can be quite narrow and my partner (being 6'6) did bang his head a couple of times. The other comment would be the hotel had no lift and we were staying on the third floor, but saying all this I would stay here again because it was such a lovely hotel. |

Food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast, The hotel is interesting and the public areas have lots of character. One niggle, on Saturday night at 9 oclock three of the main courses and one of the starters were off the dinner menu, however the all day menu was very good indeed. It would have been better to have presented only the all day menu. |

Food was very good, especially as my wife cannot eat dairy food, they went out of there way to accomodate her. The lift would not always go to the 4th floor. |

We found the Maids Head Hotel to be very well and conveniently situated in the centre of Norwich city, and the reception staff gave us a good smiling welcome. The Online booking had worked, too - to the great relief of my wife and myself ! The restaurant staff were also very friendly and capable, as was the room service. Altogether a very comfortable and efficient hotel ! The lift is small and sometimes we had to wait a long time for it to arrive on the second floor. But there may be no alternative in an old building. |

Excellent breakfast and beautiful dining room. Excellent location. Shortage of parking. Perhaps the hotel could reserve some spaces in local car park. |

The courtesy and friendliness of most of the staff. Some of the Reception staff were less than helpful. The noise of the deliveries and binning all the hotel`s bottles at 5am was not helpful, to say the least. We overlooked the car park, which was a noisy place. |

Cleanliness and spaciousness of room. Historical interest of hotel building. Helpfulness of staff. Parking in a city centre. We ordered a newspaper for the Monday morning, it did not arrive. |

Professional attentive service but without being over-bearing; everywhere clean, historic references to building yet able to provide modern comforts. Helpful to solve small problems unrelated to the stay. |

Staff at the front desk said they weren't aware we had booked a twin (instead of a double). It was good that they were friendly and helpful and still could arrange for a double room. The room we got had a blocked window that couldn't be opened. The room was rather warm and airless and there was no way to change that apart from keeping the door to the corridor open. I should say that we didn't complain as it was obviously the last twin room they had. |

The hotel suite we stayed was immaculate and very comfortable. Room was nice a big size. The hotel location was spot on for quick walks to and from the city. The only issue I found was that the road side traffic outside our room was noisy in the morning. However, this was minor problem as the traffic noise subsided at night time. |

We were not happy with the room they offered us as we arrived 2 hours prior to check in time but they happily changed it to a much better room and looked after our luggage until it was available. The reception staff were very helpful with information. |

It was easy accessible to all amenities. Very comfortable, friendly, clean and well priced. Also had a great little bar!! We would definitely recommend you to anyone we know who would be staying in Norwich. |
