We loved the history of this place and its location across from the Norwich Cathedral, an amazing place. The staff was very helpful, the bed was fabulous and the full, English breakfast was wonderful. We would go back in a heartbeat. Its good walking distance to many things, including the train station, too, if the weather is not too bad. (10 min. If you hurry!) We entertained friends in the bar, and the staff was great there, too. There was no hairdryer! |

The staff were helpful, the feeling was generally relaxed but efficient and the Olde Worlde charm made it special. No |

Nice comfortable quiet room, convenient parking and close to restaurants and shops drinks in the bar were very expensive. Breakfast was chaos, there were too few staff for the number of guests, twice a table was set up for us and then someone had come in to the dining room and taken the table by the time we were called. A notice asking people to wait to be seated would have dealt with it. Staff were very helpful though and did their best, but overall management seemed to be lacking. |

Fantastic service from staff who efficiently responded to our request to change the room we checked in which was quite noisy as it was facing the main road; we got an even nicer room! Very centralised to the main city. Fantastic facilities for a 3-star hotel. |

The ambience, and feel of the hotel, plus the menu and food, which was refreshingly different to the normal we tend to get when we travel, as normally we stay in corporate hotels near airports. The Regent Suite which we stayed in was obviously near a function room and there was the annoying fact that staff or people were using a facility with a swing door that kept banging. |

Room was in newer part of the hotel and was quite modern and comfortable. Some noise from aircon units outside. The bath, which had a metal base coated with a white finish, had a sharp edge. My leg scraped across this edge when getting into the bath, leaving me with a painful wound. |

The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Norwich. Although the servise is very much okay I would not qualify it as a 4 star hotel; 3 stars at the most. |

The staff were pleasant, the hotel wonderfully clean and the location was very central to the City. The only think I would comment on is the hotel doorways can be quite narrow and my partner (being 6'6) did bang his head a couple of times. The other comment would be the hotel had no lift and we were staying on the third floor, but saying all this I would stay here again because it was such a lovely hotel. |

Food was excellent, both dinner and breakfast, The hotel is interesting and the public areas have lots of character. One niggle, on Saturday night at 9 oclock three of the main courses and one of the starters were off the dinner menu, however the all day menu was very good indeed. It would have been better to have presented only the all day menu. |

Food was very good, especially as my wife cannot eat dairy food, they went out of there way to accomodate her. The lift would not always go to the 4th floor. |

We found the Maids Head Hotel to be very well and conveniently situated in the centre of Norwich city, and the reception staff gave us a good smiling welcome. The Online booking had worked, too - to the great relief of my wife and myself ! The restaurant staff were also very friendly and capable, as was the room service. Altogether a very comfortable and efficient hotel ! The lift is small and sometimes we had to wait a long time for it to arrive on the second floor. But there may be no alternative in an old building. |

Excellent breakfast and beautiful dining room. Excellent location. Shortage of parking. Perhaps the hotel could reserve some spaces in local car park. |

The courtesy and friendliness of most of the staff. Some of the Reception staff were less than helpful. The noise of the deliveries and binning all the hotel`s bottles at 5am was not helpful, to say the least. We overlooked the car park, which was a noisy place. |
