The staff were very polite, understanding and helpful. The hotel is tudor complete with beams and has comfortable lounges and a fine terraced dining area. It is centrally situated in Tombland, the most pictureque part of the city. Shower temperature didn't adjust. Some rooms lack much of a view |

The location was ideal as we had planned a weekend of shopping, as well as visiting the theatre on the Saturday evening. The hotel has brilliant car parking facilities and is easily walkable distance from the city centre. In the immediate area of the hotel are 5 or 6 trendy - well known resturants. As for the hotel, check in was easy the decor is modern yet reassuringly traditional. |

Prime location for sightseeing resturants and shopping. The accomadation was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was very good. The bar room was on the small side and not very well stocked. The main bitter was not available on the Saturday night. |

on arrival the staff were very freindly. the check in process was very smooth and the room was very nice, the location is spot on the only fault i found was that our room was right over an extractor fan so we had the buzzing noise coming from that all night which as my wife is a light sleeper kept her awake |

Convenient for the town centre. Good meal in the evening at the courtyard. Helpful staff as they hadn't received our booking via booking .com. Complimentary upgrade as a result Breakfast was very disorganised and many of the breakfast items ran out. Staff were poorly trained. |

have stayed here before, always pleased with this hotel. We did have one slight problem, we were in room 8 and there was some late noise from a function below the room. The management, Mandy, could not have been more helpfull or understanding and we have been offered a complimentary night as their way of saying sorry |

It has improved since I last visited about 3 years ago. It has spruced itself up. The bathroom was cold - there did not appear to be any heating in it. |

It was very nicely done up and the room was very comfortable. We had a problem with the lighting (some of the lights fused) and when we called reception there was no reply, so I had to actually go down there to find someone. When I got there, it was unmanned. eventually the receptionist turned up. They seemed to be short staffed. |
