Bed was comfy and the room was modern. Quiet considering where it was. Ideal location and handy for the tube. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bath/shower! I'm just under 6 foot so by no means tall but my head hit the ceiling when in the shower and getting into the bath was difficult as I have a bad knee - the side of the bath was quite high and i'm not sure how someone with real mobility problems would get in. Also £17 for three drinks is a rip off. |

The location was good and some features of the room were ok such as the blinds they really blocked out light. Firstly as we checked in there was a rather sizable queue and no apology given for this.Secondly the lady who checked us in evidently had no idea what she was doing as I spelt my name for her and she insisted we had no reservation even thou it was made months previous as part of a present for my fiancee I had to find the email via the internet on my phone which had the booking confirmation on it. Then she tries to overcharge me. Next we were placed in a room on the 9th floor room 917 to be precise which was located next to the lift so all night and all morning we were woken by the noises from there not only from people but also from the automated lift voice. In the morning we were awoken to the maid just walking in not knocking. She did not just do this once but twice luckily the second time we had the chain on the door! Lastly there was a queue again to check out and apology given we were then told we had bought drinks in the bar and charged them to the room which we had not. All in all I was hugely disappointed with the hotel as a present for my partner it was a major let down and as a frequent traveler I will say that I would never use this chain again and will never recommend it there ae much nicer places to stay in London with better staff and better facilities. |

One-person room small but state-of the art, very practical, very comfortable and pleasant to live in. Great location outside Hyde park. Only shortcoming: lack wireless connectivity. |

The recepion people were very helpful particularly the one that checked me in. Also the member of the concierge staff that advised me about taxis. At 6.50 a.m., there was no hot water in my room so I had to boil a kettle to shave also I could not get hot water for a shower some while later. There was a poor selection of cereals and fruit at breakfast but the staff were helpful. |
