Near to bars in blaby
Smelly room cold room. No light in corridor till really dark
Close to my office
This used to be a good hotel to stay for short business stays as our UK office is down the street. Since the hotel was taken over the quality is really poor. - radiator thermostat didn't work. Room temperature in the morning: 30° - a colleague who stays there for a long period hasn't had fresh bed linnen since 2 weeks - towels are not always replaced when you put them in the bath tub (although a sign says to do so) - another colleague found her personal belongings covered in dust when returning to the room. Apparently the hotel did some repairs on the ceiling and didn't bother covering her personal belongings - My previouwstay I had to repair my toilet (kept flushing)
Good size rooms. Nice staff
Clean room, good quality TV, good shower, Room 105 quiet. Staff helpful
Wanted to eat in the hotel restaurant on Friday evening but told it was closed Friday and Saturday as they had no chef available.
QUIET, CLEAN, HELPFUL STAFF, GOOD PARKING
STAFF NOT IN UNIFORM AT RECEPTION. NOTICE OF ROOM KEYS BEING FAULTY TELLING PEOPLE TO GO TO RECEPTION WAS ON RECEPTION DESK - SHOULD'VE BEEN ON ENTRY DOORS. PRINTED PLAN GIVING DIRECTIONS TO ROOM WOULD HELP.
Food was atrocious
Clean and tidy room Good size room Bed was comfortable Very good parking facilities
Decor and carpets are tired Confusing situation on leisure facilities
Looked old and needing up dating!!!
Room was clean plenty of Tea and Coffee. Breakfast was fine plenty of choice although the milk tasted a bit odd maybe it was long life milk. The gentleman on the evening / night reception desk was under considerable pressure but remained calm and polite he is a credit to your Hotel.
When we arrived on Friday evening the reception girl was less then friendly we got the impression she was bored and just wanted to go home. Her standard of dress left a lot to be desired, this is the first impression one gets on arrival in a hotel not a good image. There was no greeting next morning as we walked through to breakfast very rude. Bed was like a board so hard and it was,nt that warm in the room. The whole Hotel looks tired and dated. Yes this is only a three star Hotel but being polite to your guests goes a long way that is something some of your staff need to put into practise
Wi-fi not so good
Is in the centre of Blaby.
It is very very very tired. Could do with a complete makeover.
Cheap and cheerful.
Clearly parts of the hotel were needing a bit of a tidy up
Updated bar/reception area.
Nothing to complain about!
Perfectly fine for 1 night solo traveller.
I was sharing a room with a disabled person and assumed there would be a lift at the hotel (admittedly, I should have phoned ahead to check). Upon discovering that we were in a first-floor room, I explained our situation to the staff who arranged a ground floor room. Also, they allowed us to enter through a rear door opening onto the car park so that my companion didn't have to walk all the way through the hotel to our room. Very pleased with the helpful, accommodating staff and the room was clean, comfy and great value.
WiFi connection not working in my room; The room needs to be renewed;
It's location to Leicester
No notice of removal of services ie chef away and no meals with the exception of breakfast. Poor room cleaning (no bins emptied, no bed made and no drinks replenished). Although in season, pool empty.
This was the best positioned hotel for continuing my research of family members past and present without having to deal with the hustle and bustle of the metropolis.
The lack of enthusiasm by staff at breakfast to meet and greet.
Friendly and polite staff
My son thought the bed was too soft
Location size off rooms.
Bath to High had a shower stepped out off bath and slipped hurting arm badly. No bath mat or slip mat :( room 107
Interior run down. Too few electrical outlets. I could not use my c pap machine . All the lamp shades a wall pictures had spider webs including the spiders.
Pool, sauna out of action have been for months, window launches hanging off in room, bed uncomfortable leaning to not sleeping well shattered since I can back. Place need repairs in a lot of there room speaking to other guests. Everyday the keyboard had to be reset. The only thing that keeps the place going is the friendly staff. So disappointing
The room is cold and not heater in reception??? I sleep freeze,,,
