very helpful and friendly staffs. nice and clean room 1. we have booked the hotel to access the swimming pool and Jacuzi which were not available due to repair. we were not informed untill we have reached. disappointing. 2. the telephone at the hotel was faulty. I reported to the reception but she has not responded with an apology/ if they are going to fix it. 3. we also have booked it for 2 of us. They have placed only one towel. I had to go to the reception to get a spare one which was inconvenient. 4. exhaust in the bath room didnt work. gotto keep the doors open to ventilate

The cleaner was the best member of staff she the had very good manners and all the other members of staff should take a look at her. This cleaner was not English The only member of staff that set good morning or thank you was the cleaner , the staff reminded of being in a factory canteen not a hotel. The answer what's good about this morning is not what I expect from a staff member and havering a staff chat by 5 members of staff in the restaurant when I was having breakfast is not what I think is good . The reception was the same very much no thank you or good morning. The staff in most chases seem to have a very anti work.i own a company and travel a lot around the world I employment over 100 people and if my staff did this I would sack the lot,

The looks of the hotel and that it includes a sports club and a swimming-pool. My room key system broke in the very first time and they did not give me a solution besides having to go all the way to reception (I was in the fardest room) and have the staff opening my door for me.

Clean warm room on a cold night. Big comfortable bed. Close to M1. Reasonable price Quality of breakfast. Pretty greasy spoon like. Bacon and sausage in particular were cheap and nasty tasting. Disappointing

Being able to stay close to where our family live; being able to park our car witout restriction; clean towels every day; comfy room and clean beds; good evening dinner. a constantly running toilet that could not be fixed till after Christmas; the main bedroom radiator could not be altered from HOT, even through the night; the breakfast cold-choice was limited & when we asked for porridge it was inedible.

Reception staff efficient, didnt explain where everything was in hotel. Did offer a reservation for evening meal if needed. Was recommended this hotel by our daughter who works in leicester and puts a lot of her business contacts in the hotel, We were however dissapointed, although the room was very clean and comfortable. We went to visit family in the evening and called into the front bar, we ordered a beer and the barman said he had to go to change the barrel and I wanted a calypso coffee only to be told the coffee machine had broken, so sat with no drink. Bar staff could have done with some personality or even an apology for not being able to supply the order. What a shame!

Pool, gym, excellent food (recommend pre-booking evening meal for £15) Staff levels at the atmost minimum. Everyone running around like headless chickens. Price of rooms a bit pricey could stay a few miles down the road for £10-15 less a night if you didn't want a (small) pool. Food and drink prices also high if you haven't pre-booked, but there is a Cantonese restaurant and pub a few minutes walk away.

Friendly Staff, good gym and pool. Good food. Decor is very dated, pillows a bit lumpy, no atmosphere in the bar or restaurant due to lack of furnishings.

The food was the best thing about the hotel-it was excellent both restaurant and bar meals though breakfast routine was different on each day-one day waiter service, the next self service and also a mixture of both but all meals were great. gym and swimming pool were a great bonus. staff were all friendly though didnt seem aware of the food offers. The hotel lacked any atmosphere and was a bit chilly in the public rooms. Why were there no curtains in the restaurant when the view is just of a block of rooms. I paid a totally different price to my colleagues-we all seemed to pay a different rate for the rooms. The blackboard in the bar gradually faded over the 4 days i was there. I considered it pretty expensive for nothing special though for me it was handy for my business and enabled me to leave the car and walk everywhere.
