The cleanliness size of bed very peaceful staff very helpful
Everything about our stay was lovely the staff was polite and very friendly couldn't fault it and slept like a baby which made a great change to getting up in the night with small children! Can't wait to come back again
Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. I enjoyed my stay.
I was disappointed with the poor mobile phone coverage/reception from my room and had to go to reception area on occasion to send/receive a text message.
Generally the hotel has good quality rooms and facilities
Obviously the Hotel needs to cater for weddings to survive. Nevertheless the behaviour and language of some guests is appalling.
Nice quiet chilled out place
Wifi was terrible
We found all staff very helpful & welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The food was very well presented and excellent. We would not hesitate to stay at the hotel again.
Manager very visible and friendly Breakfast staff lovely, very attentive
Reception staff useless Wedding on,very very noisy, no sleep Couldn't get lunch on arrival as breakfast chef couldn't make sandwiches !! Bathroom dirty
Comfortable and clean room shower nice and powerful really pleasant hotel
The location, staff and good was excellent. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. This all helped to make it a most memorable weekend, thank you
Great location for Cofton Park or Cadburys world. Very clean, really good sized room, everything worked well and it was great value for money.
Good location, very helpful and friendly staff, rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Reception and check-in were very good. The receptionist remembered me from a previous stay and what our preferences were. Quick, no fuss but friendly and made us feel welcome. Comfortable bar, food was great. Ordered a Pizza, great value for money, tasted home-made, not frozen like other hotels. Well presented. The young bartender was excellent, very proffesional. Clean comfortable rooms.
Mobile signal is poor depending which room your in. That can be a good thing too if you want to escape!!!
I have stayed in many hotels for business and pleasure and I would say this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and better than many pricier hotels. The staff were great and the food was excellent. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. The beds are huge although a little too firm for me but that is personal preference. Overall a great place to stay with a good pub a short walk away if you don't fancy the hotel menu. I will be back.
Beds a bit too firm.
Whilst not in centre of Birmingham night life, it proved very easily accessible and a comfortable overnight.
Everything was good, especially the large bed, great nights sleep.
Pleasant staff, good food, lovely breakfast.
Cigarette ends on front entrance steps. If the bar doors are open to the outside seating area cigarette smoke drifts in to bar area. Not pleasant particularly when you are eating.
The Staff were excellent-extremely pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention to Jamie, Operations Manager and Lauren, waitress(red hair) who made our stay extra special.
No real criticism-might have liked a fridge in room and a nicer view but overall an excellent stay.
Large spacious bedroom and very friendly staff and great location just off the M42
Breakfast did not seem very organised and were left waiting for tables to be cleared. Once seated, it was a while before tea/coffee and toast arrived.
The room was very comfortable.
Room service, we phoned for room service and the staff member was extremely rude to my partner, all she had to say was 'we have a wedding!' does this mean that other guests at the hotel get treated poorly?
Good reception staff, good food and a good nights sleep in the right room!
Stayed for 2 nights - 1st night was awful, the room was v.noisy and we had to close windows (in this warm weather!!) so we couldn't hear the fans on the roof. Had a very uncomfortable night. Asked to be moved the next morning and the 2nd night was absolutely fine, good nights sleep. Shame we were charged the same rate for both nights. A small gesture for the inconvenience and losing a nights sleep would have been appreciated.
Customer service Attitude Reception (Stef) very welcoming Clean Good location
Restaurant service slow
We regularly stay at The Westmead which is very conveniently placed for our stays. Excellent room, spacious and very clean. Nice and quiet at the rear of the hotel. Free parking with good security. Good restaurant and comfortable bar area. Friendly staff.
Wifi link a bit weak in room 25 but is very good in the rooms numbered 30 onwards. No real problem.
It was well located for my activities. The staff were friendly and helpful The room was a good sized double even though I was on my own I would definitely recommend this hotel for comfort and convenience
Dinner was a little bit pricey and the hotel doesn't take dogs!
Handy location not far from the motorway to break up our journey.
Booking information implied a swimming pool and leisure facilities were in the hotel. In room brochure confirmed that this was available but through an external company. We were told by staff this was no longer available and had stopped 2 months previously. With a small child, access to a pool after a long day in the car was the main reason we chose the hotel. Guests were loud, banging doors, talking along the corridors into the early hours of Sunday morning - kept us awake and was unsavoury for a small child.
