Windlestrae Hotel & Leisure Club  

This was our second visit to the Windlestrae, we really like the pool and leisure club.There has been some work done on hotel since we were last there.

Excellent hotel very helpfull and friendly staff second time we stayed here because of the friendly and excellent staff on first visit just looking to book again for june good location for seing some excellent sites of beautiful scotland eg loch leven within 5 minutes travelling a must

We used Windlestrae hotel as our first stop off for going further into Scotland very enjoyable with good food in nice suroundings.

We have used this hotel foe eleven years now, seen many changes. The new and established staff are always helpful polite and professional. Location of the hotel gives you great scope for shopping walking and relaxing. The full Scottish breakfast never disappoints. Menu for lunch and dinner is very varied.

The leisure facilities are excellent. The new Dip and Dine offer is amazing. We meet family at this location regularly and to swim then eat just worked out fine.

Nice friendly atmosphere with a good choice of facilities for eating, drinking, and relaxing. Good value for money.

Ideal location for breaking a journey North. Excellent facilities including use of pool and jacuzzi. Pleasant bar serving a good range of food. Good quality and choice at breakfast in well appointed dining room. Comfortable and spacious bedroom. Temperature maintained at a "comfortable" level throughout the hotel. Easy access from the main road with ample parking spaces close to the entrance. All staff were polite, cheerful and helpful.

good service although disapointed that the bath in the room was a bit old and the bubbles did not work ....no tea spoons in bedroom and ran out of small milk sachets to quick food excellent service excellent would use again and recommend thankyou

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. The pool was a good size. The location of the hotel was really good. Preferred the food on offer at their sister hotel, The Green. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. Our room was a very good size and the bed was clean and comfortable.

It was difficult to make eye contact with the restaurant staff at breakfast, so we ended up just selecting a table then requesting toast and drinks a while later. The actual food was excellent. The room could definitely have done with a better cleaner. Due to the sun it showed up the dust, which left us reluctant to use the drawers. We did a dust check before putting anything down. The bathroom was clean, but a little tired.
