The staff and the location was great.
Friendlinest of personal Specialy David
Expensive street parking.
Hotel freshly painted top to bottom inside, part of refurbishment which will see room furnishings etc upgraded.Comfortable beds, good ensuite shower, welcoming staff, fantastic position with direct view of the sea, the pier and the wheel .
Breakfast was disappointing…good bacon and sausage, but beans and mushrooms unpleasant, and the milk for the cereal was sour…staff changed it at once, but it should not have been put out.
home from home ,would recommend to our friends, good breakfast, friendly & obliging staff, great value for money
location, view, breakfast, room size
insufficient heating in room
Everything about the place was fine but is in need of renovation, we stayed in 25 and had a great view. Staff couldnt do enough and were very friendly. You get what you pay for really :)
shower was either too hot or too cold, nowhere in-between!
Location Bed Enthusiastic manager
top floor no lift steep stairs toilet not flushed from last guest cups in room still dirty sink not clean previous guest used soap still there mould in shower rotting shower frame one tea bag one coffee sachet no milk breakfast - scrambled egg like bullets, should have been served with toast but was served with pappy white bread Picture on website of reception did not look anything like the reception Ask for coffee, got served tea, coffee did arrive, weak, served with cold milk.
Staff were very friendly. Great value for an overnight or weekend stay.
Nice and friendly staff
Perfect location for seafront and town. Staff really helpful and friendly. Such a beautiful view from our window of the pier. Bed really comfortable and a good size room
Nothing really to complain about. We enjoyed our stay
Terrible breakfast... had to wait over half an hour to be served. And the vegetarian option was just the standard English breakfast without the meat. Hotel is seriously in need of a makeover. Horrible experience which is a shame because of it's great location.
Staff Large Room Clean Close to pier 20 mins from station (walk)
The place was filthy the sheets were clean matress all stains small bath carpets really bad. the corador was full of old paint tins and other materials we had to step over .We didn't stay we went after booking in and asked for our money back and booked the holiday inn would not recommend it to a down and out to be honest .
Great view from my room.
Room Quite small and bathroom tiny.no phone to recepton.
Staff were friendly, breakfast was good.
Shower dirty black mould in and out, toilet roll holder broken toilet dirty, fan not working, thick silicon all over the place. bed old not comfortable sharp edge on bed no milk in room for the tea or coffee. Know where to put kettle had to place it on the floor near plug.decoration very poor, window didn't shut or open properly. Very old duvet and grey colour. Waste of money, apart from the breakfast!!
Reasonably cheap, clean and friendly
We had our 95 year old father with us and it was not suitable for infirm or disabled. People. No lift and lots of very old stairs.
Bed & chair looking toward the beach.
Main light bulb was out when we got there. No lamps beside the bed.
headboard of bed half hanging off shower door did not close properly shaver light did not work at all had to ask for 3more pillows as so thin painting going on no blanket and given a toilet roll daily
Broken glass on carpet so obviously not cleaned properly. Room either freezing cold or boiling hot. 'En-suite' shower was a curtain around a shower in the corner of the bedroom. Shower was freezing and when manager was informed he said it should be working and he was fully booked so couldn't change our room. For the price would not choose this hotel again.
Friendly staff and good location
Constant banging doors from 6am onwards, poor lighting in rooms, lack of mirrors
Friendly , comfortable room , good breakfast ,great location.
Remote control for TV didn't work
I liked the fact that we had a key to access the building at any time of day/night and the shower cubicle in the en suite we were provided with as we only have a bath at home.
There were lighter Synge marks on the headboard, the lamps didn't work, the decoration was dull and depressing and there were bulbs missing from the light fitting above.
