Costello Palace has just been renovated, and is in the process of becoming a Best Western Hotel. I got a large room which was clean and was good for an overnight stay. The room facilities were good with new shower and flat screen TV on the wall. There wasn't much room for clothes (small rail) but this hotel is fairly simplistic. Breakfast was continental with various pastries, cold meats, cereal ,toast and fruit. Only a 2 minute walk to Finsbury Park tube and about 10 mins walk to the Emirates stadium.

Very convenient location near to 2 tube stations. Friendly staff. Plenty of nice food available for breakfast. Lots of channels on tv. Pleased to say I could not find anything to complain about, nor could my wife!

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was good and easy to find. The breakfast was basic, with no fresh fruit, fruit juices, coffee, tea and there was no cooked breakfast option. Very limited.

Very pleasant reception staff, helpful and attentive. This is a basic hotel offering B & B with a small bar/snack area. It was spotlessly clean and bright. Its location close to family was the main reason we chose this hotel. Its opposite Finsbury Park and so has pleasant outlook and does provide parking. There was an accessible room with wet room shower which suited our needs and a lift. There appeared to be no restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel so you do need to go further afield for evening meals, however as a base for the North London area it was perfect for our needs. I don't mind self service breakfast, and there was a reasonable choice. I do prefer to be offered a pot of tea rather than filling a cup and tea-bag. Staff did give us a pot when we asked. The boiled eggs were left out to go cold, I think the staff in the kitchen could have boiled them to order, or else provide guests with a self-service egg boiler.

Very friendly and helpful staff ! We had a 2-bedroom flat which was extremely clean, spacious, comfortable, quite and with full kitchen amenities. There was free wifi of good quality and digital flat-TV. The hotel serves continental breakfast which was very good with fruits and yoghurt and a coffee machine which could serve not just black coffee but also cappuccino, hot chocolate and other hot drinks! The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic, opposite the Finsbury park which is great for a relaxing walk. The tube station is 5 minutes walk but there are at least 3 buses which go to central London and even a night bus which goes to Trafalgar Square (N29) every 8 minutes. We loved this hotel and we will sure book again !! Hardly to find something bad.

We were going to an arsenal game so the location was ideal. We probably could have walked to the ground but as the weather wasn't the best and we didn't know where we were going we took the tube from Finsbury Park which was very close, to Holloway Road. We just had to walk down the street opposite and we were at The Emirates. Oh yes, should mention the continental breakfast in the hotel was pretty good!

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It is right beside Finsbury Park and only 5 minutes walk from Finsbury Park tube station which is on the Picadilly Line and handy for getting to the centre of London. I stayed in one of the new apartments which was very spacious and clean. I would have much preferred a cooked breakfast. The continental breakfast offered plenty of choices of cereals, bread, meats and cheeses but only hard boiled eggs!

We arrived very early but it was no problem to checkin. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel is located not far away from a bus (~150m) and a tube station (~500m). The room was clean and everything in it was fine. The breakfast was a little bit disappointing. Small choice of cold cuts, marmelade, cooked eggs, toast, kind of croissant, yoghurt. Coffee machine was fine.

Excellent in every way; helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, wonderful breakfast and very reasonably priced. We booked a family room for ourselves and our two grandchildren and were delighted when we arrived at the hotel to find we had been given an apartment to stay in. We would definately stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to others There wasn't anything to dislike about the hotel, we had a pleasurable stay

I needed a hotel in North London, near to an underground station - this hotel is equidistant between two underground stations - that had single rooms and that offered a bed and breakfast option. While the bedroom was small, it had all of the facilities I would expect of a three star hotel, with a clean en suite, powerful shower, comfortable bed etc. The staff at the 24 hour Reception were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was continental, and there was plenty of food choice, well presented. The breakfast room could do with a second coffee / tea making machine, as there was a bit of crowding of the one machine at busy times.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The decor was fresh and undamaged. I would have loved a fried breakfast instead of a continental breakfast, however the standard of the breakfast was still high.

We were given a brand new apartment with plenty of space, very clean. The girl at the front desk (Iliana I think was her name) was very pleasant and helpful on check-in. The breakfast was very decent too. The mattress wasn't the most comfortable. Other than that I have no complaints.

Spacious, clean room. Very comfortable beds! Friendly staff. £10 to park over night and they let us leave the car there after we'd checked out. Close to White Hart Lane Footy Ground (short bus ride) but even closer to underground stops (4 mins walking distance) if you're going into town.

The location was great as I was being treated to an evening match at the Emirates. Good game. No information on the nearest tube station. got out at 7 sisters!! Breakfast - too continental, not enough choice.
