Only 5 minutes’ walk from the main beaches and Newquay’s town centre, this family-run bed and breakfast offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and high quality, 4-star guest accommodation. Catering for couples and families, Cotehele Lodge is a family-run establishment situated on Tower Road, Newquay. It is very close to Newquay's professional golf course and only 200 metres from the town centre, Newquay harbour and the world-renowned Fistral Beach. Cotehele was once a naval officer's lodge and today the building still retains some of its original features, such as stained glass windows and inglenook fireplaces. All of the rooms are en suite or have private bathrooms and each room has a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms have sea views, four-poster beds or real log fires. The delicious full cooked English breakfast is made using locally sourced produce. Good location, not far from fistral beach or the town centre. Theres only a few spaces available for parking but we it was fine for us as we didnt want to go far with luggage and a baby. We slept in the executive room which has a very comfortable king size bed but still enough room to manouver around and to fit a travel cot. The room had a fridge which is handy if you have a baby. The bathroom has a jacuzzi if you have time to have one. Theres a large sainsburys just around the corner which came in handy for buying food for on the way home. Breakfast is served to your room if you order it which is very different, we liked this as the baby was able to be left in cot with her toys and play. Overall I would definitely recommend this lodge we ended up staying another night after we spent a day sightseeing. The shower didnt have any power to it.

Decor, location. Cold rooms, mould from damp, very low water pressure, tiles coming off side of bath, , out of date drinks & food in mini fridge, very thin quilts, breakfast cold after being carried from kitchen to bedrooms, gaps round windows letting in draughts

Very clean and nicely appointed room. The breakfast in our room was great. Fridge in room a bonus. Fairly busy street and a slightly rough area.

Central location. Room was reasonablyfurnished and comfortable Room was not properly cleaned and tidied each day, we made up our own bed most days and had to clean the wash hand basin on two of six days. The sea view was glimpse of the sea down the side street opposite the hotel. We had minimum contact with the owner who did not seem to care much about whether we were enjoying our stay or not. The shower had no power and trickled water.

Great access to the beaches and town Price+additional charges for breakfast, Cleaning staff left rubbish on the floor, room was not cleaned properly

The Fistral Suite was very spacious, really clean with everything it said in the advert, we would go back again and also recommend it to our friends.

Very nice location, close to the Fistral Beach and costal walks. We like the decor but that's a matter of taste of course. Friendly relaxed atmosphere. I very appreciate that the owners don't try to save on heating, what happens in other places; it was mid September however we appreciated having heating on as evenings were on the nippy side! We didn't get a top up of coffee and teas on the second night so had to pop to shop and buy our own, but that's not a major issue.

Zimmer sehr schön eingerichtet. Bad auch sehr schön und neu. Alles sauber. Frühstück kostet extra. Hotel akzeptiert keine American Express Kreditkarten. Extreme Probleme bei der Buchung. Bestätigung von Booking.de aber keine Bestätigung vom Hotel. Hotel ist telefonisch sehr schwer zu erreichen. Geht keiner ans Telefon. Per email Antwort erst nach 2 Tagen!

The hotel room was fantastic. Brilliant decor and spotlessly clean. The bathroom facilities were also first class (spa and shower etc) ve stayed at worse 4/5 star hotels. I really liked the fact it was quiet and a great location 10 min walk to city centre If you want breakfast it's brought to your room which is a nice touch. Very friendly staff who were there if you needed them and made you feel welcome but also left you alone when not required. Downside the outside of the guest house isn't that inspiring. It's much better inside than outside would make you believe. Car parking is a little tight Both points are really knit picking though. Great guesthouse!
