“It was only a flying visit - but - from what I saw I would like to go back. The hotel was in a fantastic location, minutes from Great Malvern and its abbey, was a beautiful building and had a feeling of calm and homely grandeur. The owners were very helpful and accommodating and it was lovely to be greeted by their gorgeous dog !”

This beautiful family-run Victorian hotel was built in 1851, retaining its original charm and character with the added luxury of modern amenities. The Cotford Hotel is just a short walk from the center of Malvern, the theater, cinema and hills, but is set away from the road in its own beautiful, mature gardens. Guests are entitled to complimentary use of the Malvern Splash swimming pool and sauna. All of the bedrooms have private bathrooms and are non-smoking and feature many facilities. The restaurant is of a high standard, offering fresh, homemade food, with a varied menu which changes frequently. Other facilities include a comfortable lounge, bar and ample off-road parking. Nice staff, good breakfast Pokey room, small bed, bar closes if no one is in it at 11pm which isnt much good if you want a nightcap after pub closes

Efficient friendly staff. Extremely clean and everything worked. Good bed. Very comfortable lounges. Met the scrambled egg test at breakfast. Bedroom a bit small so became a little cluttered with luggage and clothes.

The whole experience was extremely enjoyable. The food was outstanding, the service exceptional and the hotel was very comfortable.The location, just a five minute walk from the centre of Gt Malvern, was very convenient and we were able to walk onto the hills straight from the hotel.

I had booked this hotel for my daughter and her husband, the opinions are theirs. They were very happy with the accommodation and delighted with the standard of the restaurant. They tell me they would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to any one travelling to Malvern.

This is an architectural gem, beautifully refurbished and with a large well-maintained garden. The room was comfortable, the staff very friendly and the breakfast, cooked by the chef, was very good.

The Hotel was really friendly and accomodating.The food was excellent. I would recommennd this hotel to anyone looking for comfort and friendliness, as well as the above. We loved it and will stay there again if we ever need to visit the Malvern area.

What a lovely hotel! Reception rooms were very tastefully decorated. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was gorgeous! The shower in our room hardly had any power.

A fully refurbished Victorian residence of the best quality. Within easy walking distance of the town with very fine gardens. Peaceful, warm and somehow "homely". All staff were polite, helpful and of happy disposition. But the finest point was the restaurant. We had provisionally booked for evening dinner on arrival - first night. Having strolled into town and studied the eating alternatives, we chose to eat there for the following 3 nights. The food is magnificent and we believe could not be bettered. A very attractive rate for b and b and dinner inclusive. Highly recommended. Absolutely nothing to criticise. Faultless.

Small independently run hotel in excellent location near town centre, quiet comfortable room, pretty garden, friendly and efficient staff, first class breakfast and good restaurant serving evening meals if required. On site parking is a little awkward and there is insufficient space for all guests to park although there is free parking on the road outside. Breakfast is only served until 9am on weekdays - 10am would be more acceptable for guests who are not on a business trip, especially older ones.

Very welcoming atmosphere, evening meal was great our room very comfortable and quiet. Tv reception very poor and internet access was pricey hotel parking a bit restrictive but can park on the road also the breakfast was not of as a high standard as we have experienced elsewhere.
