Das familiengeführte Hotel liegt in Burford. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet. Haartrockner und Wasserkocher sind vorhanden. In der historischen Region Cotswold liegen einige Ausflugsziele wie z.B. Woodstock (Geburtsort von Sir Winston Churchill), oder die Universitätsstadt Oxford oder Boughton on the Water. Dem charmanten Hotel ist auch ein Restaurant mit freundlicher Atmosphäre angegliedert. Hier werden Speisen aus der Region von bester Qualität angeboten. Im angrenzenden Coffee Shop können Kleinigkeiten und Getränke eingenommen werden. Es ist ein ausgezeichnetes Hotel für Leute die Stadt und Umgebung bereisen wollen. |

The room was excellent and the food of good quality. Staff were mostly good but one or two seemed rather inexperienced. Closeness to main road. But good double glazing mad the noise level low |

Location close to Burford village; family friendly; good food; dinner served from 6.30 pm; good-sized car park; modern double-glazing keeps out road noise; comfortable beds with nice linen. Family Room 9 was over the restaurant and kitchen: musty cooking smell in room. Bathroom could have been more modern, but it worked. |

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the food was exceptional. Even though the hotel was near a very busy road and we had a room at the front of the hotel there was no road noise whatsoever. |

Fantastic location, Burford is about 20 min from Oxford, lucked in with this find, quaint village atmosphere, very much enjoyed our stay, king size bed which was fantastic, very roomy, off street parking and ate in restaurant which was lovely - howver 1 pizza between 2 is plenty!! Owners are very, very, hospitable people and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. |

The staff were very friendly and efficient. Not really a complaint but at that price you don't expect the view from the bedroom window to be that of a roof.I suppose the upside was that we didn't have any need to draw the curtains!! |

The staff were very accomodating in every aspect. The room was very good. The position of the hotel in relation to main routes and exploring the Cotswods was excellent. The menu was quite expensive. |

Hotel near to shops so could leave the car and walk. Good size room with four poster bed and flat screen tv. Cheap orange juice with breakfast, freshly squeezed would have made it so much better. |

We stayed last year on our Wedding Anniversary, and thought it was a lovely place, Burford is a great base to visit the Cotswolds, and Silverstone, where we went on the Sunday |

The hotel met our expectations, room was ideal (a little on the cramped side), staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and had much variety. Would stay there again. Thought the meals in the restaurant were over priced compared to the pubs in town. And there are many pubs to choose from in Burford. |

The friendliness of the staff and closeness to the facilities of Burford It was situated on a very busy road and the traffic noise went on right throught the night. It was impossible to have the windows open because of the noise. However we were able to change rooms for the second night, which was much more quiet, but was much smaller with just a view of the roof. |

The hotel owners were very accomodating. They even gave us an extra room at no charge for our two teenage boys! That was really nice. The hotel was quaint, and the town was lovely. Just wish I had planned more time to stay at this hotel and in this area! |
