Originally a resting and overnight point for travellers, this hotel still performs the same function, but in a more modern context. It offers the convenience of ample parking in a private car park at the rear of the hotel, and a restaurant and bar open daily to both residents and non-residents. Each of the 20 bedrooms has a private bathroom and many useful facilities. A four-poster room and a family room are also available. Cotswold Gateway is well positioned for exploring the beautiful Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire countryside. The facilities and food are excellent and the staff friendly, efficient and welcoming. We are regular visitors - on both business and pleasure.

We stayed in the annex. The room was bright and spacious, with a good sized bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help. Great position at the top of Burford. Great breakfast.

Very friendly, helpful staff. The hotel is well located on outskirts of Burford, yet a short walk to the towncentre. The food in the restaurant, including the breakfasts, was excellent, Our room ( Room 12) was on the small side, nicely furnished but with no drawer space for clothes. Otherwise well eqipped with hair dryer, trouser press, TV, Tea/Coffee The shoiwer is a little on the week side albeit the bathroom is large with list of shelf space

Pleasant staff. Clean and tidy hotel and room. Good breakfast. I woul recommend this hotel. Smal room but as it was only for one night it was fine. And the manager made sure we were looked after well.
