Location, facilities, food, people
A little too noisy in the evening, as door rooms make a lot of noise when they close....and it does awake you up!
The food and service were very good
The bedrooms were hot and the bathroom extractor fan did not work it soon became a sauna
Shower dirty, wiring flex on iron broken, walls dirty,wi if non existant
Location. Leisure facilities. Some excellent staff
Sick stains on carpets. Booking not received by hotel. On site pub staff rude
Very pleasant staff Fantastic views of lake Great spa facilities Comfortable clean rooms Good breakfasts
Stayed here for wedding in nearby village. Nice views of water. Attentive staff at breakfast. Breakfast was ok
Far too large a complex for us. Stained carpet in bedroom. Breakfast food was a bit motorway self service.
Friendly staff and neat maintained hotel.
Long waiting time for the dinner.
The Spa facilities The view from the room The facilities of the hotel
The meal in the old boathouse could have been better, food was not great.
brilliant location, excellent spa and gym facilities, very helpful and friendly staff
Room size and cleanliness Spa facilities were excellent Food in the restaurant was good
Spiders... lots and lots of spiders
The hotel is located about 45 minutes from the main villages in the Cotswolds making it an ideal place to use as a base to explore from. The rooms are a good size, modern and comfortable.
The rooms were lacking in air conditioning, though a fan was provided. Whilst not an issue during my stay, or the winter months, might be an issue on warm summer nights.
Large well located hotel Good pool / sauna / steam room Breakfast was good Free parking Good enough wifi Access to the water park
Feels a bit corporate The rooms have a view of the lakes (most do) but also of each other in some cases
I loved the room with the view, just so beautiful, beautiful! The room was lovely, warm & relaxing The scenery is beautiful, walking alongside the lake, it was so peaceful seeing the ducks at play freely in the lake, rabbits running freely. Feeling the fresh breeze, it was so out of this world. Just lovely, the staff was so helpful & courteous. The atmosphere in the building was so calm & relaxed. Just wonderful xxx
This was notified in the room in their policies to beware of spiders.... *Dreading to open the window to behold nature joining us. We had to the first day before going down for dinner, because it was too warm. When we came back 3 spiders on the window & ceiling as I was about to close the curtain. *The hotel wifi did not work, signal was very poor. *No fridge in the room. *The iron never work properly, worked after a few attempts
ease of travel, with access from both the m4 + m5 and well sign posted on the A419.facilities re. the water/lakes are excellent considering the inland location.indoor swimming for inclement weather.restaurant and bars have plenty of space despite the large number of customers at weekends.
car parking insufficient and requires a lengthy walk to the hotel.
Friendly & helpful staff
Some black mould on sealant around the bath in en-suite
Location, room was nice and clean.
Staff on the spa reception were rude.
friendly staff & great setting
Presentation Service Food Comfort
Lovely new buildings with view out over the water. The hotel has been well designed to fit in with the beautiful surroundings. The swimming pool and gym facilities were great as well.
There was a lot of noise at night from people talking as they walked down the corridor. Both of us and our young son were woken at about 00:30am. It seemed that the bedroom doors didn't stop a lot of noise. I was surprised for a new hotel.
Sitting by the lake
Staff pleasant Very nice ambience Good quality breakfast and views Good location, easy biking and walking tracks
Noisy at night Noisy self closing BATHROOM doors, WHY??? Doors banging til late at night and starting again at 6.30am Very few slow closing doors?? Why not
Location and spa facilities
Not very comfy seats in main lounge area. Steam room not working for 2 of our 3 day stay
Rooms - no fridge, no water, hot and stuffy. Bed v soft and pillows hard. Not a good nights sleep.
The location and views from room, comfort, eating outlets and proximity to Cotswold area. Enjoyed Cirencester.
Struggle to fit spa treatments in due to short stay. Also lack of Steam room on the occasion I managed to use the pool.
Thought the spa disappointing as certain things were not working!
