With a lakeside setting in the middle of open countryside, this 4-star Cotswold hotel boasts a luxury spa and stylish rooms. Overlooking the lake, the Brasserie serves local produce on both the breakfast and evening menu. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful.Great location. Clean and comfortable with a good Bistro restaurant. Swimming pool was a great hit with our young granddaughter. Having to leave!

Location in Cotswalds. Site and facilities. Lakesides to visit plus good local villages e.g. Cricklade with good pubs lovely church plus not to far from where we live. Having been before we knew what to expect and our sons provided the break as a celebration of 50th wedding anniversary. would come again and in the not too distant future.

The friendliness & "can do" attitude of everyone. Customer service is of a very high standard. Food choice/variety good. Bathroom only had a small bath so couldn't really relax in the bath & on arrival bathroom seemed chilly - corrected by leaving door into room open for heat to enter bathroom!

Stayed there for three nights and throughout that entire time the lobby/reception/bar area smelt of vomit. Everyday I wanted to go to the pool I was told it was either too full or there was a class taking place in it. So I had to go on the waiting list to enter. I never got to the pool.

The room was spacious and clean with great views of the lake from the balcony. There was only one heater which wasn't very strong even at 5 but other than that was a relaxing break. The bathroom is pretty small with only a shower head. The amenities provided weren't great but i always brings my own anyway.

When we arrived on Thursday evening the area was quiet and relaxing. Dinner was the same and un rushed. The staff & the food were excellent. When Friday and our spa day arrived it had become full of uncontrolled families. The pool was like the beach on the costa del sol. Our evening meal was noisy and we were unable to have a conversation. It had become a holiday camp.

Loved the location, room, facilities -staff very helpful and welcoming. Tablets, TV's and phones being allowed on in the restaurant whilst people are eating. I was looking forward to a quiet romantic meal with my husband - on the next table the two gentlemen had a Tablet stood up showing a football match!!! Really????

Location (Water park), friendly staff, pool and spa facilities, the fact that you have a choice of restaurants (in house or in the nearby Boat House pub. Good breakfast. TV lounge with SKY sports. Lack of Wi-Fi other than in public areas. Rather odd arrangement of the rooms (2 doors behind one "front door", apparently double as self catering appartments). No bath but decent shower. The fact that tables (12+) in the lounge were left uncleared (late evening) whilst 4 staff + duty manager had a good chat behind the bar.

We were made very welcome.The standard double room was spacious ,super comfortable and well designed.Location superb.Very busy weekend, booked at the last minute, but staff very attentive and cheerfull. Food excellent.Lovely pool.Would have enjoyed the walks and stunning countryside, but weather vile, so enjoyed staying in instead.
