The staff were friendly adn breakfast was really good. The room was nice and comfortable. We arrived on Friday and went to the Spa to enquire about booking treatments, we were then told they were fully booked for the duration of our stay so this was disappointing. Also, the door was very thin and when we were asleep, we could hear people walking up and down the corrider in the middle of the night. |

Room ready on arrival although we arrived early. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Staff friendly and helpful Not having access to Sky sports from own room although available in lounge Limited food options if gluten free food required |

The facilities and location were stunning. All is modern, clean and new. Rooms and facilities were very good indeed. Welcome by staff was poor and it was suggested we eat in the gastro pub. Ignore gastro - it is just a pub and the food is poor pub food at that. No warm welcome - purely functional. |

Good service at reception, concierge and restaurant combined with good facilities in a clean well sized room helped make our stay comfortable & memorable. Good stuff. It was a long walk from the car park to reception and then to our room but then maybe the exercise was good for us! One minor point was that one of the toasting machines did not work properly at our two breakfasts, but there were others. |

check in was quick, room was lovely for a standard, fairly busy as a wedding party was in, maybe would have chosen a different weekend!! we opted to dine at hotel, and booked for 9pm, at 10.15pm we finally got main course, but was very disappointed in standard and choice, they have a boathouse bar just down from hotel, i would advise to look in there first....! |

`Room had a superb view over the lake....the sunrise was terrrific! The spar and gym were excellent as were the attendant staff. The breakfast was very good and the restaurant staff attentive. The staff at The Old Boathouse were not inspiring on a Sunday evening! The service was slow and unenthusiastic although the food was very good. |

The Facilities in the Spa were good and the location was pleasant. There was not enough dinning space, we were unable to eat dinner and breakfast as it was too busy for the guests. |

The hotel was very modern and attractive it was in an excellent location. Although very busy at the hotel this did not cause a problem for us. The gym and pool were great! Well equiped gym and relaxing pool. Overall a great place for a quiet break. There were a couple of spiders and cobwebs in the room when we opened and closed the curtains and I am not a fan of these! |

Location in the beautiful cotswold water park and surrounding countryside Rooms do not have air conditioning and even on only a warm day the room was unbearable - cleaning of the room could be much better - spiders and cobwebs around the windows - food in the bar was overcooked and virtually tasteless |

Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was spacious and comfortable with great views. Breakfast was a bit of a scrum with many items needing to be replenished due to the shear numbers being catered for. |

Room had a nice balcony Reception staff were surly - bed was uncomfortable - restaurant was like a diner - air-con in restaurant blew a cold gale - food was uninspiring - had to ask 5 times for toast - flexibility to vacate room 30 mins late was not available |

The hotel is very clean and the staff are excellant and very helpful. Very good food although only had breakfast. This is the second time I have stayed and would definately stay again. The beds are a little uncomfortable. |

i was looking forward to a relaxing break however the hotel seemed over booked and unable to manage. The spa was so full they had to turn people away. they ran out of robes so i couldnt relax properly during my spa treatment. The resterant was fully booked Sat night and so was the boat house which im sure when we checked in someone could have advised us this & offered to make a booking?. so we went for room service which we had serveral issues with and the staff on reception made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Again we felt that they were too busy to care. Beautiful location but very disappointing stay. |
