Location was convenient.

Staff in the restaurant lacked attention to detail and command of English. Food not up to standard expected for this category of hotel.

The room was very small for the price.

Facilities were clean, comfortable and attractive interior design. Staff was very attentive and made the stay a comfortable visit. Dining experience at hotel restaurant was also pleasant and well done.

Minor matters: - steaks in restaurant could have been more tender; - bathroom shower in the bath - a shower rather than bath would be better (but good hot water supply)

Staff were very helpful, large carpark, bar area and lounge were nice. Beds were very comortable, and for a fairly large hotel, it was very quiet during the night

Noise after retiring to bed, seemed to be from staff emptying bottles etc.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel central.

Overpriced and the walls were extremely thin. We paid £200 a night for a room with tatty curtains and VERY THIN walls. We could hear people talking either side of us.

Staff all friendly from cleaner to manager. Relaxing atmosphere. Hotel attracts foreign guests who all are pleasant and interesting. Rooms clean with fine decor

English breakfast was poor. Beans were mushy. Not the best at all. Wine list poor for a 4*

just a bit out of town - but there are good pubs restaurants and an art gallery just over the road

the room was a little cool for my liking

The location suited our purpose - within walking distance to the centre of the City and yet it was quiet and peaceful.

The bathroom was cold.

The receptionist ( A lady), Comfortable room, good water pressure. Toiletries.

No house computer for ordinary e-mail catch-up.

Staff helpful and public rooms very nice. Food excellent and good value. There is a homey air to the place as well as elegance, a good combination. It was nice without being stuffy.

I had a room in a courtyard at ground level. This meant I couldn't leave my curtains open if I was in the room because people could see in. So, I couldn't get natural light in and felt a lack of privacy.
