Cottage Lodge is a friendly, family-run property offering 12 comfortable hotel-style bedrooms. All of the rooms have en suite facilities with a bath or a shower. Parts of the building date back to 1650 and still feature beautiful period features, such as original wooden beams, handmade bricks and ship timbers. The lodge’s rich history means it has a wealth of character and original charm.

Cottage Lodge is based in the thriving New Forest village of Brockenhurst, so you may experience a little noise. However, this does mean you are within just a few minutes’ walk of all of the town’s amenities.
Brockenhurst is one of 3 New Forest villages where the ponies, cattle, donkeys and even pigs can wander freely around the village. They can sometimes be seen on the little green opposite Cottage Lodge.
A locally sourced New Forest breakfast is served from 08:15 to 10:00, at an additional cost.
All of the rooms at the Cottage Lodge are en suite but not all of them have both bath and shower. Please mention if you have a preference and want either a bath or shower, the Lodge will do their best to help if possible.
All rooms have TV with either video or DVD player. There is a film library in the dining room.
In the surroundings you will find 2 eateries, shops, village railway station, horse riding, bike hire and, of course, the open forest.
A 5-minute walk from the railway station. Head out to the road from the station. Head towards Forester's pub and take the road on your left, just before you get to the pub (Brookley Road). After 500 yards you will come to Lloyds Bank. Turn left. Cottage Lodge is 100 yards on the right.
Please note that reception closes for check-in at 20:00. Please let the hotel know your expected arrival time in the guest comments when making your reservation.
Reception is open from 08:00 to 20:00, the owners are available only for emergencies after 20:00.
If you check in after 20:00, Cottage Lodge will add additional costs to your bill.
Please note that due to its location, you may experience a little village noise.
