family run business.about the most friendliest hotel staff i have met. literally 10 minutes stroll into the centre of Tenby. breakfast plentiful.

prefer bath to shower. only 45 minute window for breakfast. would of been nice to have had the residents bar open for drink in the evening.

it was very clean the food was very nice they were very friendly and extremely helpful informative about local places and how to get to different places

Nothing to dislike.

Very friendly. Allowed into our room 2 hours before time. Excellent breakfast. Real value for money. Would recommend and go again. A 5 to 10 minute walk to beach & town which may be difficult for those who can't walk but parking & taxis very reasonable.

Mmmm, the foul weather! But the hotel couldn't do anything about that. Even though my wife liked it, I wasn't too keen on the pink decor.

Lovely modern hotel the family running it were lovely nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was excellent and very filling,most important very clean. Will be going back very soon.

Room no 11 was very dark due to the very large tree outside the bedroom window.

It was in a quiet location. The hotel was very clean, the breakfasts were good. Within walking distance of the main town.

I visited for the weekend with my wife when competing in the Wales Ironman. The new owners Donna and Russell made us feel very welcome and were really friendly. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the room had a sea view which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was great and they even put on an early breakfast on the day of the race for the competitors! It's a really nice hotel run by really nice people.

Amazingly warm welcome. We were staying for the Ironman weekend. They were so accommodating. Breakfast was set for the boys from 04.00 with all the nutrients they would need. Nothing was too much trouble. Garden benches and chairs were brought into the front garden for us to spectate and our hosts joined us. Breakfasts were excellent. All the staff were friendly and interested in the guests. The hotel is situated about a 5 minute walk from the town and beaches on a quiet leafy road.

Stayed during Ironman Wales. Hotel very well located 10 mins walk from centre. Hotel was very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

The room and bathroom were very clean. We were given a quiet upper floor room as requested. Our bed was comfortable and we slept well. Free on-site parking was very welcome. Approx 15 minute walk into town. We were not charged extra for checking out 2 days early. (We had a delicious evening meal at the Five Arches in town, where the staff were extremely friendly and the portions generous. Nipped across the road for sweeties afterwards from one of the old fashioned sweet shops!)

Our double room was very small (with one dining room type chair squeezed in) coupled with a huge bathroom, which had a slightly larger chair in. This meant we couldn't sit together in comfort. Our view was of the car park and a static caravan. Breakfast is an area in which the owners have the opportunity to excel and offer their guests the best they can. Unfortunately this was not our experience and breakfast was of very poor quality. There was no fresh fruit (fair enough) and the prunes I had were hard and tasteless. The full breakfast was cooked in 'red oil' which produced horrible yellow grease on the food, for which the breakfast staff did apologise, but it would have been helpful to have been told about this before ordering as I could've chosen a boiled egg instead. I thought never mind I can fill up on some nice toast and jam. Unfortunately the bread was poorer than supermarket 'value' bread that I occasionally buy, and the strawberry jam had so little fruit in that it was transparent. The bacon and sausage were also very poor and tasteless. Thinking we would be on fairly safe ground, on the 2nd morning we asked for only toast, bacon and mushrooms to make up a bacon sandwich each. We were incredulous that each of us was served only 2 tiny rashers of bacon and 3 miniature button mushrooms with which to begin our day at the seaside. (It also amused us that breakfast staff (fairly good naturedly) grumbled about everyone arriving at once - the guests were given only a 45 minute window so what else could we do!) Looking at other reviews it is amazing to think that they stayed at the same hotel and at around the same time, but that is the advantage of everyone being welcome to share their views. As it was apparent that we would not be able to enjoy a fulfilling breakfast nor be able to relax comfortably in our room on occasion, we decided to move on half way through our 4 night booking.

everyone owners and staff were so friendly, the hotel was very clean, the breakfast was excellent and the hotel was a short walk from tenby harbour would love to go back...

The hosts, Russell & Donna were wonderful, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. The room was very clean, with tea and coffee making ingredients replaced as fast as we could use them. The breakfasts were exceptional.

It's a fair walk to the sea front.

Donna and Russell made us feel very welcome the breakfast was lovely and you could walk into Tenby but needed to get a taxi back because it was up hill.

Donna, the owner was very friendly and provided all you could need in the clean and spacious rooms. It is located close to the north beach with parking which is a bonus in Tenby, Additionally she advised us where to eat in Tenby - and we had our best meal there - she really knows the area. Highly recommended and know when we visit Tenby again (which we will) will stay at Cottage Court.
