The Cottage Guest House is an excellent price this is one of the factors that attracted me to book the hotel. It was also in a good location with secure free parking. Our room was separate to the hotel on the ground floor overlooking the gardens. It was peaceful, very nice and clean. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely book this hotel again as long as the price is right.

The room was decorated in a quaint cottage style with a comfortable bed. Along with all the usual complementary toiletries and tea/coffee there were 2 small bottles of water and a fridge in the room. The staff were very friendly and we would definately stay there again. The only problem we had was finding it - it is set back from the road and is next to a pub called the Merry Gardener (I think)

The location was easy to get to in a car. We were allowed to leave the car after we checked out and went into London for the day - very secure behind a gate (might not be possible if they were very busy, but the manager was very helpful.) The beds were comfortable, and the rooms large. Breakfast was plentiful. It took about 20 minutes (at least) on the bus to get to the tube station, so the location for that wasn't as great as I'd hoped. Two of the rooms we had were on the ground floor along the main hallway, and were noisy - both from guests/staff walking and talking late and early, and from the boilers (or whatever) that run the radiators - the boilers/pumps/whatever were very loud in cycles all through the night - like car engines, or herds of horses overhead! Very hard to sleep through. I ended up turning off our radiator, but you could still hear the system working for other rooms. (The room my aunt stayed in on the first floor was, apparently, very quiet.) I would recommend the hotel - but only above the ground floor, or without heat!

Friendly staff, secure parking. No hot water to shower. Bed too hard for me. Whining noise all night from outside. Person in next room coughing all night which kept me awake.

Excellent service, clean, value and location. Although situated close to Heathow, it was relatively quiet and the large size family room for the 4 of us was just right. Close to Houslow West Underground, Tesco for food and stuff, petrol station and major car rental returns; all 10-15 mins drive away. The staff was helpful and provided us with tray for breakfast consisting of cereals, yogurt, fruit and juce, milk the evening prior to our early morning departure. Although limited in car park space (abt 10), was able to park my rental car in the secure car park. The garden area and excellent weather was perfect for us to have our lunch with a bit of R&R. In summary, highly recommended especially for our family needs.

My wife and I stayed there for a night and we were really suprised about the cleanliness and the comfort we felt during our stay.. Service was also great. We had a great night rest and in the morning they offered a full english breakfast which is really good! The next time we will go down in London for whatever reason, we will stay there again for sure! :)

The hotel is just 20 minuses bus ride from Heathrow terminal 123, one can easily take 111 or 105 bus to get there. The hotel rate is a good bargain, hotel staff are friendly, the room is very clean and comfortable, and breakfast is superb..

Lovely, friendly little oasis in outer London with good pub (which has good Thai restaurant) 2 mins walk away. Proper car parking, proper service and quiet - incredibly peaceful given the proximity to the airport landing path. Deluxe rooms are lovely despite being ground floor but the bathroom floors are unbelievably cold. On this occasion in Rm 19 the shower refused to deliver anything other than lukewarm water. I've stayed in Rms 16 & 17 and they did not have this problem. The room window had been left open before I checked in and even more annoyingly, it was opened whilst I was out at work (it was a 2-night stay) without my permission.

Good secure parking. Quiet. Manager was very accomodating. Needs to get a high chair for the restaurant particularly considering we stayed in a "family room". Difficult to find as the signage is small and the guest house is set back off the road.

Located very close to Heathrow but does not feel like an airport accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice, cooked breakfast. A few meters walk to a local pub for drinks and a meal. Conveniently located near Windsor for a day visit to the castle with own car. Easy access to the motorway to continue travels.

Fantastic location for a young family needing to get to Heathrow - but also easy to get into London. Small and friendly, personal attention. Beats all the "chain" hotels who don't care about you. A really good find.

I enjoyed my stay, especially as I had a friendly, warm welcome from Timmy- the owner, who ensured my car was parked securely on premises, behind locked gate, which gave me peace of mind during my stay. My room was very comfortable, felt safe and secure, was clean, furnished and spacious, good lighting, T.v and had nice bathroom. My breakfast was full english - inclusiveand staff were very courteous. Thank you for super stay. I liked everything, and was very satisfied how excellent value my stay was.

A real hideaway location, secure and run by quite possibly the friendliest staff I've ever encountered! The manager will come out into the car parl when you arrive and ensure you get parked up all right (nb this I imagine also minimises selfish and untidy parking which is a bugbear of many hotel car parks). There's a handy pub across the road called The Queens Head which is also very friendly and serves real ale and good Thai food. The window in my room had been left open all day and the TRVs were turned off, so the room took all evening to warm up (never mind, see: pub, above!). Bathroom floors of ground floor rooms unbelievably cold.

This is the second time we have stayed while doing an overnight for a flight from Heathrow. It is good value for the money and you can catch a bus that takes you to Heathrow and back so you save taxi fare. The included breakfast is the best.
