Very pleasant week in beautiful surroundings. Everything was clean and well presented, all the facilities you could require and beautiful walks through bluebell woods directly from the carpark up to the top of the Malvern Hills.

We found it an excellent overnight stay on our journey home from Swansea to York. We had a very comfortable room with superb views even when it was raining! We thoroughly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast and all the staff were so friendly and efficient. Our only regret was that our stay was so short, and we hope to return on some future occasion.

This hotel was simply one of the very best hotels we have ever stayed in. We did mention this to one of the staff and are looking forward to a return visit staying for more than one night next time.

Really lovely short break. The attention to detail in both the room's personal touches and the staff was great. Beautiful location and a fantastic room :) Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful location, warm customer focused staff. In the rooms they have thought of everything! A lighter option menu is the only recommendation.

As a b&b excellent - following is not criticism but intended to help decide if its right for you. Out-of-town, but not remote; access roads well surfaced, not the easiest to negotiate but not untypical of the area. Comprises 3 separate buildings so if you don't want to go outside before breakfast, you'll want a room in the main building. Ours, double Room 43 is not in main bldg, but we enjoyed excellent view to East and it was well-appointed, spacious, with a comfy bed, and wi-fi too (but two floors up and no lift, if that is a concern). Site is on a fairly steep east-facing slope, so sun in morning and evenings in shade - you won't be sitting to watch the sun go down but when the mists cloak the vales that has its own magic. Good breakfast incl. Full english, in very pleasant, airy, dining room. Found the evening menu rather limited and a little on the pricey side - we found no alternative in the immediate vicinity (well, its the setting away from the hurly-burly that attracts isn't it?) so its a drive to Great Malvern for choice aplenty.

Ambiance, food and Staff were excellent. (Having worked in many hotels, in my student days, I was particularly aware of the high quality of the staff). It was particularly gratifying, when ordering a medium rare steak, to not be served a MEDIUM. It would have been nice to have had a choice of more than one draught British beer. Though ,alas, with changing drinking habits I can understand why you don't provide this! The choice of bottled beers was excellent. (These are just the ramblings of an old man past his sell by date!).

Location. Value for money. Dinner menu needs to be changed on a regular basis. Staying for 4nights with the same menu is a little boring. Nice restaurant but evening lighting needs to be more subtle as does bar area. A little more atmosphere required. Food mostly excellent though inthe evening. Breakfast could be improved upon from the 'crispiness' point of view but maybe that is personal taste. Kippers poor! Overall, would recommend with a few small changes. For the price we paid it was good value but would not have been so happy had I been paying the Rack rate!

Very relaxing stay, just the one night in a very good size room including excellent bathroom, everything worked very well. "grown-up", opening windows for fresh air a welcome plus. Fresh milk for tea and coffee available, free wi-fi, nice lounges and restaurant in main building - a short walk from the The Pinnacles separate annexe. Food of the highest quality (2 AA rosettes) and breakfast both taken in the Outlook restaurant, fantastic views down into the valley. Comprehensive wine list is a highlight and beautifully laid out - there are good ones at the cheaper end as well as the top vintages, and easy to find what suits the pocket. In our case the Cote de Brouilly, excellent. Staff very good, friendly reception. Nothing really, although the dinner prices are at the top end of the scale in my opinion. An all inclusive deal might be a good idea. Our room was a special discounted rate so overall things balanced out. If paying full whack I would have asked for one of the great view rooms (with binoculars provided) but with the room rate paid that would have been a bit cheeky! These are minor but hopefully constructive points.

The room was very clean and nicely furnished and decorated. It had plenty of space to sit and relax while looking out over the views of the surrounding countryside. The room we stayed in was in a building a short walk away from the main hotel. The restaurant/ breakfast dining area is in the main hotel, so if it is pouring with rain then you are going to get wet going to your breakfast.

We had an excellent stay from the moment we arrived the staff were efficient and very friendly . We were given a free upgrade to a beautiful room in the pinnacles with breathtaking views and every thing you could possibly want including lots of little extras including an emergency kit and free bottled water . The restuarant lived up to its reputation with great food , wonderful service but not in a stuffy way- the duo of Brulees was to die for . The only thing that was missing was the possibility of having a bar meal rather than a full service dinner but having said that it is a wonderful place for a break and we will be visiting again in the spring.

Wonderful hotel, with a slightly dated charm. A perfect get away, we would loved to have been able to stay for longer. Proof that private hotels are head and shoulders above groups. Hope to return again in the future The food was not quite as good as 2 rosettes suggest, but good none the less.
