Mel was a lovely host and gave us a warm welcome. Traveling with friends, so I was able to see both large guest rooms, they were lovely with nice bathrooms. We were able to use a table downstairs in the evening to play cards games. Breakfast was the best. We were each able to choose from a long list of items. Yogurt, fresh berries, toast with jam, coffee and tea and delicious hot breakfast. A British brekky, or the eggs Benedict (I ordered these both mornings)nice healthy omelettes, my husband had the haddock, excellent he said. Great way to start the day! I liked the way the owner greeted us, was a lovely bloke and treat us like friends from the start, the property was clean and he went above what we expected with towels and soaps on the beds, The cottage was clean and tidy, This is the best I have stayed at and we have stayed at alot, The price was also excellent , when I seen the price I was fearing the worst but this should be a lot more , we will be going again and my friends are already asking for number too book
