Excellent location

Value for money wasn't great. We had a superior room but quite frankly it looked like a standard room with wall paper peeling off and the window latch was broken.

Location and friendlyness of staff.

The room (125) was located next to an air-conditioning duct which was noisy through the night.

The Michael Caines restaurant was very nice, excellent service and a good amount of choice. The hotel was well situated in the middle of town.

The standard of the room did not live up to its price tag. We had to have 2 appliances swapped as the cables were exposed and dangerous. I would describe this as a standard hotel room - nothing special. We were also disappointed in the lack of discretion shown by the hotel staff - when checking out they asked the person next to us whether he'd enjoyed his £30 room when we'd paid a LOT more than that for the lowest bracket room!

Location is perfect for historical city. Gourmet eating available in the Hotel. All eating tastes catered for within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. very comfortable and clean. Staff cheerful and helpful. All historical sites at Canterbury easily accessible on foot from the hotel.

All 3 of us were very happy with staff and services.

1- it is the only hotel I can stay in canterbury. 2- staff are very nice. 3- location is very good. 4- I feel like I am in my house.

Location was ideal, the bar and lounge area had a very warm atmosphere and the room itself had a real wow factor. The staff couldn't do enough for us.

My partner and I wanted a relaxing evening away together. The Abode was the perfect choice. Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings and a touch of luxury, all at a very affordable price. The champagne lounge is a great way to relax and get the VIP treatment. We have already booked to visit again!! Highly recommend Tha Abobe- and breakfast is awesome too!!

Would have prefered a jacuzzi/spa bath..

Nice rooms, good room service. Pleasant staff.

The room was noisey, air con did not work. People were loud in the corridor after 3am!

My companion is disabled, and the staff were very understanding and helpful. A disabled parking space was made available. the hotel was admirably situated in the middle of Canterbury and near to the cathedral.

Central location

Never any space in hotel carpark and then have to park a good ten minute walk away from hotel in a shoppers carpark. Have previously suggested that they prvide hotel transpport to carpark or arrange parking closer with nil response.

Great location, very clean and had all the facilities we required.

The bed was far too soft and dipped in the middle. The air conditioning wasn't sufficient and the room was still quite stuffy even when it was on full. Our 'next door neighbours' were very noisy and sounded like they were having a party until past 1am.
