Very attentive staff and lovely touches. My husband booked one night here for our 23rd wedding anniversary and we arrived to an upgrade, kind congatulatory note from the manager along with helium balloon in our gorgeous room complete with sofa, wooden floor super king bed and statement bath behind glass panelling and very designer ensuite. Please look into your noisy plumbing system!

The hotel is in a great location. The room was lovely, it had everything I needed, and the bed was comfy. As the hotel is in the city centre the car-parking is a little tricky. Also, because of the location, it can be a little noisy outside late at night. This doesn't bother me particularly, although I usually like to sleep with the window open, and found I couldn't do so on account of the noise.

The hotel room was a high specification and we had a complimentary room upgrade. The room interior was luxourous and contained a lovely welcome pack with complimenatry tea, coffee and juices and snacks. The hotel staff were friendly and provided a first class service. This excellent hotel was in the centre of Canterbury. We enjoyed our 2 day stay in the Abode and hope to return soon.

The staff were friendly and unprofessional. The room did not live up to the price, Old tv, no free standing bath, no slippers or chocolate bars. I booked the hotel on the pictures seen on the computer and as the deluxe and luxury were the same price I thought the rooms would be similar.

Little disappointed with the rooms, thought superior would mean superior but I would have classed ours as comfortable. Quite expensive in the bar for coffees n very poorly made cocktails

Have stayed before and it is quite smart with good restaurant. However people were in champagne bar and at 18.20 we were all asked to leave as there was a function on. No prior warning. We were sent to a lounge but were unable to buy any drinks there. No mini bar in room and no way of getting a meal. Prior warning would have been better not just a minutes notice to get out of the bar. Very poor. Will not return. As I was travelling alone I did not want to walk around Canterbury to find food and drink so went hungry and thirsty . Very poor. Will not return.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, when there were a couple of blips with the lunch party, the way the staff dealt with this was very professional and meant matters were resolved quickly and without fuss. Car parking.

I had thought the hotel would be a little more luxurious, I was slightly disappointed with the standard of the room. Being charged for parking and a newspaper was a surprise.
