Close to town centre Free parking is difficult. There is an option to park nearby at £2.50 per day, which is cheap, but could be mentioned in the information. The Christmas theme was too much for November 20th! |

The breakfast was well prepared and was delivered promptly after ordering. The bathroom was very spacious. The hotel was located next to a roundabout and it was possible to hear traffic throughout the night. |

the room was clean The hotel is very dated, beds and furniture sagged and were very uncomfortable. Curtains didn't draw and let a constant stream of light in from the street light outside. The TV didnt work, which was reported and assured would be fixed - It wasnt. The breakfast was small and basic and reception staff left us waiting 10 mins on check out and were then a bit abrupt. |

Apart from the location- not much. The comments on the staff above do not apply to the waitresses who served us breakfast. They were very nice and helpful. When we went down for an evening meal during the hours specified in the hotel directory, we were were told that the hours were different and anyway "a party" had come in and they were not serving anymore meals. We were not offerred room service or a suggestion as to where we might find a nearby alternative. Even allowing for the fact that it was the Lakes and a Saturday night we felt overcharged |

Well located for the type of business I needed to undertake on this occasiion. Hotel could do with own parking however as on road parking is limited. The quality of the Breakfast was very good and the staff could not have been more helpfull to my request for an early breakfast outside of their normal starting time. Thanks Bathroom could do with a face lift,( dated fittings but all worked) but was clean and practicable; perhaps some complimentary shower gel as well as soap? |
