The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable, and I had a very good sleep. The Hotel provided a very good full English breakfast. I was very happy with my stay. Good location right next to the Carlisle train station. |

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I would especially commend the Scottish girl who dealt with me at reception. She could not have been more helpful. The bar area was rather dull and unattractive. It would be best also if bar staff were familiar with the peculiarities of language for ordering drinks in our northern lands ! |

The staff were extremely helpful. The room was extremely small with very little to move around, but on saying that the bed was very comfortable. The hotel could do with a bit of an overall as it is looking a bit on the tired side. The bathroom was in need of some renovation as there were cracks in the tiles and the shower rail was held in place with tape. |

The central location of hotel was great. Staff helpful. Car park at hotel was a bonus, even better knowing its secure and being monitored. There was no warning of the noise at night due to the pubs all around. Very dated decor. Lift was broken...and has been for a while i am told. |

The rooms have high ceilings to give a more spacious feel. The beds are comfortable, truely value for money! There was no toothpaste. |
