All aspects were excellent.
The house, an old manor converted in a hotel which for once is affordable and not upper class. Staff is very nice. Breakfast room very well decorated.
Light in the bar and the sitting room is depressing. The indian restaurant is not great (décor and food).
We came for a wedding and stayed the night and everything was really lovely.
There was nothing we didn't like but I would just say that the water was cold in the morning for our shower, maybe a lot of people were using theirs at the same time.
Nicely converted and modernised large old family estate house, having character. Very large, comfortable bedroom with good facilities. Just outside the city, in quiet countryside. Award winning restaurant specialising in curries! A perfect base for my three day business trip to Bridgend.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. Very good restaurant also.
The bar might have been better stocked.
Lovely hotel, super restaurant, friendly staff.
Overall a nice hotel, but unfortunately we were given a room at the top of the hotel, right next to a water tank which emptied & refilled constantly through the night, worst nights sleep I have ever had in any hotel (and I can sleep through most things!)
The hotel was a ideal stop over it was warm and well coming the bathroom was fab and having the restaurant was a bonus will stop again great value
Lovely environment; Good food; Very helpful staff.
Shower needs more pressure; Bed dipped in the middle; Breakfast not included in price.
Nearly everything. Fine dining. Nice staff. Nice room
It would be nice to have a workout option, especially with the welsh weather.
General décor, beautiful location, friendly service, quality of food. Four-poster and Jacuzzi!
Can't think of anything - swimming pool would be nice!
The Bokkra restaurant. The friendly staff
We liked the hotel rooms and the views, also the convenient restaurant.
Unfortunately there were no blinds in the bathroom, making it difficult to use the toilet and even more difficult to use the shower, especially as people were in full view of our window as they strolled along.

The lovely country house ,the theme room ,the Indian food and the staff.
The staff were so friendly and polite. The room was very comfortable. The location was excellent surrounded by beautiful grounds and landscape. I will definitely go back to this hotel.
Very limited food choice in the restaurant for vegetarians.
Location and staff in the hotel.
Room was poor
Lovely old country house, great restaurant and lovely features. In need of a little TLC
Low water pressure on 2nd floor
The room was in need of an update.
I've stayed a few times, there has been a definite improvement in staffing and a definite improvement in professionalism. I really enjoy staying there, friendly and helpful without being over bearing.
The location, it was easy to reach from the motorway but felt quiet and remote once you'd arrived. The building look fantastic and was in a great setting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Indian restaurant food was very good.
The small basin in the bathroom.
Nice surroundings Lovely staff relaxing environment good food
Pleasant and helpful staff. Indian food comfortable rooms
