Proximity to central Stratford Enthusiasm of the staff Background music in the breakfast room would have lightened the mood in the morning
Having been out celebrating on New Year's eve the breakfast times were a litle early Having to 'book' a 'slot' for breakfast between 8.30 & 9.30 - on New Year's Day?!!! Having to vacate by 10.30 on New Year's day!!! Having to nominate exact breakfast requirements the night before was a first!
Lovely room with very comfy HUGE bed, all in excellent taste and only two mins walk from the heart of things. Very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Heartily recommend.
Being very close I did hear a little noise form people leaving a night club down the road, but really that did not bother me.
Great location, very helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
Single glazing only downfall.
Walking distance to everything. John was very helpful in highlighting local pubs and coffee shops that we might want to check out. The breakfast was very welcome in the morning on New Year's Day after the night before!
everything from the location to the breakfast to the owners and the room was extremely good. i will be using the courtland again.
Easy arrival and it proceeded exceptionally well from there as a stay
Very close to the town and theatre. Proprietors very friendly and helpful.
Food was great, hosts were really friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Nice touches like a heater and a fan, biscuits, tissues. Room was lovely and warm, really comfy bed and pillows. Will certainly book again.
The only slightly down side was the fact that our bathroom was along the corridor. It was for our sole use only and it was large and well equipped with a great shower but I would have preferred it to have been closer to the bedroom. Ideally we would have preferred an en-suite room but none were available. We were aware that the bathroom was separate from the bedroom when we booked but I think I expected it to be next door.
Friendly comfortable B&B rooms lovely & clean small but compact
It was a bit noisy on the road in the night people coming out pubs clubs etc
Clean. Tidy. Value for money.
Breakfast was tasteless.
Teapot in room was a fab touch and towels etc great quality. Lovely design of room. Delicious breakfast, good options. Location is excellent for town centre.
Slight confusion over price/upgrade as this was given to us not requested so didnt want to pay more. Taps and toilet seat were slightly loose (minor issue - no real impact on stay) Extra small charge for parking.
Our first night in England was spent at the Courtland. Quaint, pretty room, very clean apart from the musty, dusty curtains. Perfect postition for exploring Stratford-Upon-Avon. Lovely owners, left key out for us when we arrived later than expected and they sorted out our parking permit as we were jetlagged and had filled it out incorrectly. Very friendly and helpful, advise on things to see and do. Breakfast room is gorgeous and the breakfast cooked to order ... very yummy. Would definitely recommend!
The accommodation was clean, and had everything you need and more. Bathrobes, hairdryer etc. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend Courtlans for a stay. Must not forget the excellent breakfast.
Friendly and very helpful hostes will always recommend to others.
Thoroughly enjoyed stay couple who run it very friendly breakfast was lovely, clean, and had great nights sleep, recommended .
The room was very comfortable and well furnished. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfasts. Thoughtful touches - great to have all those RSC programmes!
Perhaps the website should mention the parking situation - £3 permit for each day. Entry perhaps a little misleading.
Very comfortable b @ b.lovely breakfast.Very handy for town centre
Noise from traffic and passing revellers in the night.
So close to the centre of town. Less than a ten minute walk to the Dirty Duck! Very clean well-appointed rooms. Delicious breakfast and catered for my specific dietary requirements. Very easy to park nearby as well. Very helpful and friendly owners
Nothing I can think of!
Location great as I was going to the theatre; very clean, warm (much appreciated) and good food. Bed was so comfortable. Lots of info available in respect of local attractions, weather forecast and theatre programmes!
No-one there when I arrived, despite informing the time of arrival (lucky it wasn't raining..); I would have liked someone to take my (small) case to my room, being tired after a long journey and walk from the station.
Good coffee at breakfast
i couldnt really find fault, or if i did it would just be nit picking
owners lengthy insistence on making public an issue of arrival time (9.15pm)
Location, facility, breakfast---all the above
The Husband and Wife were very friendly, also help full. Great Couple, would recommend to anyone
