Setting was beautiful.
Comfortable spacious room, good breakfast and access to the castle and grounds
Location was perfect. Would love to stay in summer to make the most of the grounds. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.
The single room was small but adequate for my needs (there was no desk, so be aware of this is travelling on business). The main downside was the mattress - you could feel all the springs and it was quite uncomfortable; I only slept well as I was so tired.
We enjoyed our entire experience, even though the room was not as large or oldy-worldy as the online photos imply. It was comfortable, well serviced and had a restaurant that pleasantly surprised us with its quality at dinner time. The staff are very pleasant and obliging. The inclusion of entry to the castle etc made the deal very fair for those (like us) coming from afar.
The organisation of the daytime eating at the stables cafe (no reflection on front of house staff) which would not take much to improve.

had to leave !
The beautifully lit castle by night was breathtaking. We kept on leaving our dining table to take another look!
The drive away from the castle!
Leeds castle is breathtaking.
dinner at the local restaurant on the grounds was disappointing
Absolutely everything about the location, surroundings, staff.
The fact that our room was over the office and the mens (in particular) voices were very loud if you wanted a lie in. Didn't ruin the stay, just wished they could lower their voices.
Rooms are very nice and quite. Location is fantastic. Breakfast is good.
The room is lovely, and the location is great.
The bathroom design is very convenient. The bath tub does not have a shower head, the shower head in the shower is way too high to reach. the basin is only 5cm deep.
Room 2 - Large bed and very nice bathroom. There were lovely views over the gardens and for a busy stable courtyard the room was surprisingly tranquil. It was a hot day/ night and there was no Aircon, but they provided a tall powerful fan which was more than adequate to keep us comfortable.
We booked an evening meal at the onsite restaurant which they kept us waiting past our booked time for more than an hour. My food was O.K but my husband's was totally disgusting and un-edible. The breakfast service also left a bit to be desired as the waitress seated us - then promptly forgot we existed for about 30 mins. Only when I complained to another waitress did we have our order taken. Not what I was expecting from Leeds Castle...
The sound of the geese on the lake early in the morning. Getting lost in the maze (almost!) Segway tour. The amazing view of the castle from the restaurant.
The temperature in my bedroom. Radiators were on full blast. This was easily rectified by adjusting the controls.
Very comfortable room Very clean and well decorated Excellent location Staff very attentive, friendly and helpful Breakfast excellent All round excellent value for money This was a special trip for my partners birthday, and he was very impressed; we shall certainly be booking again; cannot fault it !
I could not park near the room, it pored with rain and no cover to get to room. Parking area poor and not enough room. No help offered with belongings it took three trips!!! No easy chair in room.
Rooms and bathrooms were massive. Massive bed. Out of season so quiet. English breakfast superb. Castle and grounds to your self when everyone has gone home.
There can be no better location for visiting the Castle and grounds. A very good breakfast to start off the day.
1000 seemed very early for checkout especially as Castle does not open before 1030!!
ideal stopover when travelling to make channel train . ( quick motorway access ) perfect either way for continent connection.
Cosy small double bedroom in stable courtyard, plenty of room for two, fresh bathroom with all you need, plus constant hot water! Excellent service & tasty food in the Fairfax Restaurant just a few steps across the cobbled square. Liked the free entry to grounds & castle included in the B&B..
Devilish hard to find the Broomfield Road entrance turning off a very fast, busy road....quite frightening in the poor light, just a fluke we saw a small sign right opposite the dark tree-lined turn-in...needs sorting.Nice lady on the entrance gate to explain the entry & exit system...'press the bell really hard as the entry post is very wobbly'...that's true too!
- Room - Breakfast - Wonderful setting
Spending the night at The Stable Courtyard Bedrooms at Leeds Castle we enjoyed the view and the grounds with much privacy after day guests had left. A unique experience! Our room was nicely furbished and very spacious, the breakfast served in the Fairfax Hall the next morning was really very good!
The view was amazing
After the castle closed you had the grounds to yourself, you could imagine yourself as Lord & Lady of the castle perusing your land. Then free entry to the castle. Well worth the money
Having to go home
Excellent location to spend a day at Leeds Castle, entrance fee was included in the room cost which was a bonus. Plenty of parking and the double room I used was brilliant, plenty of space and huge bathroom. Breakfast was awesome and I would definitely stay again or recommend to others.
There was nothing not too like.
Location. Gatehouse man. Breakfast waitress was a peach! Great breakfast.
Man on Reception was stuffy. Bed was awful - hard, thin and uncomfortable mattress. Wet room floor positively dangerous - smooth tiles are safety hazard and need to be changed for non-slip. Noisy geese all night made sleep difficult.
The location was excellent and easy enough to find the right entrance. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff were friendly. The welcome basket in the room was nice but its a shame you cannot buy the mugs they have in them.
The soundproofing of the rooms was very bad. I could hear people peeing in the room above me. Slightly off putting first thing in the morning! The single room is very small and not worth the money they charge.
