Right in the heart of the beautiful castle, free access to castle grounds, staff very friendly.
we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and experience of both castle with grounds. The resteraunt served a good breakfast. The staff were extreamly helpful and friendly from the moment we reached the gate to our departure, made you want to return.
The fact that we stayed in beautiful accommodation with a short stroll to Leeds Castle and it was such great value!
Amazing setting with brilliant facilities. Room was very comfortable with fantastic views across the lake. All staff were extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and polite - nothing was too much trouble. Restaurant food was exceptional and again all staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely return.
Staff were really friendly, nothing was too much for them Stewards in the castle were great and spoke to kids in their language Bookings team superb Educational Team kind and generous
The WiFi didn't work whilst we were there. Limited food options for vegi's Shower cut out half way through, whilst my wife was in there
Lovely room and view. Very comfortable. Added bonus of dining in the castle, an amazing evening.

This was the best romantic break me and my wife have been on. Facilities were amazing and the staff very helpful. Food was fantastic and reasonable value. Excellent.
Fabulous history and grounds - great room really enjoyed our night.
Restaurant was average, food and service was no where near as good as accommodation.
Access to the castle and grounds and the huge comfortable bed. Staff were exceptional.
the hot water was only just warm and low pressure.
I enjoy the walks to and fro the maiden tower for meals, the guard is very helpful and explained to us patiently. The room is comfortable and well decorated and the castle visit is very interesting.
We came a long way from London and reached our accommodation nearly 3pm. We had to rush for the castle visit as the last admission is 3.30pm. After which, it was dinnertime but there were no available eateries around, Costa coffee was closed at 5.30 while the restaurant was having a renovation. Me and my partner were stranded with no food. Lastly, there is no shuttle or buggy transport to bring us out of the compound to the main road to catch the hourly bus ride to Maidstone east, I had to limp my way up the damp slope to the exit.

Such a clean and peaceful place For a 40th birthday. Looking forward to a return visit in the summer.
Dissapointed that the restaurant was under refurbishment and had to travel out for a meal. Was looking to cap the day off with a relaxing meal in the restaurant. Perhaps would have been nice to have prior notice and not when booking in As this was a surprise visit for my partners birthday.
We stayed in the Maiden's Tower which was a perfect way to spend a beutiful winters day with stunning views of the moat, lake and surrounding countryside. The room itself was well equipped with everything we could of asked for and more. We loved wining and dining inside the castle as the usual restaurant was having work carried out it really added to the whole experience. Loved it
Fantastic views of the castle and lovely to be able to wonder around once the crowds had gone. Very comfortable room and bed. Good value for money.
We booked an evening meal and the service there was like Fawlty towers! Same at breakfast the next day. We paid a fair whack for the meal which was very ordinary and the service was really laughable. They were very nice and well mannered - just so many mishaps and mistakes....not worth the money to eat there, wish we had gone to the local pub.
Gorgeous setting, free access to castle and grounds, fantastic restaurant and very welcoming staff made this the perfect short break. Thanks so much
Nice location in the countryside and very peaceful
Wasn't informed the restaurant was being refurbished, so had to get taxis in and out of bearsted for food whch wasn't ideal
setting was lovely although it was bad weather so not much time spent around the grounds
Being told the restaurant was closed on arrival and having to drive out again for nearest food.
Staff exceptionally friendly. Wonderful to be in castle grounds on waking & able to enjoy the grounds before & after the public.
Wifi slow. Otherwise- perfect.
Superb place to stay, eat and Drink with views of the castle etc
Being near the castle is fantastic location is great.
We had to ask to learn that the restaurant was closed on the evening we were staying, I would expect to be told that when checking in. Very classic decoration
The accommodation and the grounds
The restaurant was very cold had to keep your coat on to have breakfast
The beautiful location
The cottage is near to the castle which is quiet convenient. Besides, we can visit the castle without entrance fee within the two days of stay.
The effect of soundproof is not that satisfying.
