Liked everything especially the location.
There's nothing NOT to like, it was just perfect.
All staff from the entrance gate to reception to the restaurant were helpful and very polite.
Room was exceptionally small
The stable courtyard room was delightful. The breakfast was exceptional and satisfied even the hungriest of appetites. The added bonus was being able to wander around Leeds Castle in the evening with nobody around. Visiting the castle in the morning was really interesting and once again before the crowds arrived. The stay was worth every penny.
The restaurant menu was a rather limited but the building was stunning.
Gorgeous and unique grounds of the Leeds Castle at your full disposal. Good room size (ask for the large ones) and wifi.
Restaurant quality for price can be improved. Inns and pubs just outside the castle grounds offer much better deals and service.
Everything, couldn't fault it in any way.
Being on the castle grounds with easy access.
Limited dining options on grounds. Restaurant service was good but meal took over an hour to be cooked.
Staff all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a wonderful choice available.
Not having booked more time there.
Good location Good efficient welcoming staff Room fine breakfast, good
The view from the beautiful breakfast restaurant across to the castle was amazing ! The small walk after breakfast was a real treat.
My single room was quite small, but everything else more than made up for it.
Stunning location, romantic setting, oldy worldy feeling. Nice restaurant, great rooms. Nice and quiet at night. Will be returning with my wife for a social weekend away.
Not perfect for the businessman unfortunately, but only because they don't serve breakfast until 8.00am. I had to be on the road by then. However they are mainly catering for the visitor/tourist who I guess rises a little later. If they could move the breakfast 1/2 an hour earlier they would fill the place every night with professionals like me looking for a clean tidy value more money accommodation for a late arrival and early getaway.
The location and the bathroom.
It was difficult to find my room as 10 - 13 are not signposted from courtyard. The mattress was uncomfortable. There was no information in the room and when I phoned reception to ask for wifi code I was told there was a folder in the room with this information. When I checked out I was told this was not so - they are looking into it. I rang reception again as I could not connect to wifi and the answer machine clicked in - had they seen my room number? I left a message but no one returned my call throughout my 3 days. no refill of shower cap during visit and no point calling reception of they did not reply to a message. Disappointing.
The bedrooms are luxurious and the views are excellent. Breakfast is first class and the castle is beautiful
The staff were wonderful, customer service was excellent.
Food was good, however don't expect Michelin Star quality!
Excellent position overlooking the gardens and lake that surround the Castle. Busy with life and excited children dressed as Vampires and Ghosts for Halloween during opening times, but then beautifully quiet once the Castle is closed. Fantastic picturesque walks. Gorgeous restaurant overlooking the Castle, and very helpful staff.
I couldn't fault it. The one meal was a bit of a disappointment but didn't stop us enjoying it.
Stunning location, lovely room and staff that all gave the impression it is a happy place to work. Definitely going back to experience the grounds in summer.
The meal in the British Kitchen was lovely food and really good value for money. The staff in the hotel and restaurant we really friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again if in the area
This is a top notch venue. They clearly spend a lot of effort ensuring that the staff are well-trained and the venue and grounds well cared for. It definitely shows.
As with many places you are at the whims of the other guests as the walls are quite thin. We were surprised to find a family with two very boisterous (though not young) children booked into the romantic suite next door to us.
All the staff are so friendly and helpful, from reception to evening dining and through to breakfast. The Maze ,the Grotto marvellous. What a view from our room, overlooking the gardens full of songbirds.Magical view of the floodlit castle whilst dining.Wonderful!
Not a single thing!
Setting was beautiful.
Comfortable spacious room, good breakfast and access to the castle and grounds
Location was perfect. Would love to stay in summer to make the most of the grounds. Breakfast was great with lots of choice.
The single room was small but adequate for my needs (there was no desk, so be aware of this is travelling on business). The main downside was the mattress - you could feel all the springs and it was quite uncomfortable; I only slept well as I was so tired.
We enjoyed our entire experience, even though the room was not as large or oldy-worldy as the online photos imply. It was comfortable, well serviced and had a restaurant that pleasantly surprised us with its quality at dinner time. The staff are very pleasant and obliging. The inclusion of entry to the castle etc made the deal very fair for those (like us) coming from afar.
The organisation of the daytime eating at the stables cafe (no reflection on front of house staff) which would not take much to improve.

had to leave !
The beautifully lit castle by night was breathtaking. We kept on leaving our dining table to take another look!
The drive away from the castle!
