Convenient hotel Reasonable breakfast
Food in the restaurant overpriced and not very tasty. Tempura prawns were in a normal batter and overcooked. Main meal was very bland.
Next to the airport
Wifi is definitely not free. Too backward for this day and age
The hotel is within walking distance of South Terminal - there is also a bus service operating between the hotel and both terminals . The room was very clean and comfortable. We ate an evening meal and buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Both meals were good.
Nothing to dislike
Great breakfast, good location with regular and reasonable value shuttle bus to airport terminals, friendly staff
It was such a comfort and reassurance that world had not gone completely do lally, just me having a bad day, to arrive at such an amazing location, with a smooth easy friendly reception that started to make me relax, and even more so when I saw the room and King size bed wow what a splendid end to an unfortunate day
nothing there was nothing not like
The person on the check out insisted on dealing with telephone calls whilst also serving face-to-face customers. This caused delays.
Only stayed overnight for an early flight
Hotel within easy walking distance of London Gatwick South Terminal and well sign-posted from Arrivals. No noise from airport considering close proximity. Decent breakfast also on offer.
No complementary Wifi. Food in restaurant / room service quite expensive.
Food very expensive in the restaurant
Big room, very clean and great location for early flights
Check in took a while as they took forever which each person
nice and easy for gatwick
the food was not brilliant
Comfortable bed, lovely en suite room staff very accommodating.
Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast.
The fact that I had to pay for WIFI in my room. For this reason I will not be returning to this hotel.
Very nice hotel, comfortable, close to airport, with good restaurant and free access to gym
Had to pay for internet access
If you need to stay overnight in Gatwick, the Courtyard is a cheap option. The price and the limited competition would probably mean that I would go there again.
The Courtyard is quite a distance from the terminal (a 10 minutes + walk). Staff was surprisingly indifferent (you do not believe this is a Marriott hotel). No functioning WiFi (when checking out I was told that I should have obtained a special password when checking in - but no one informed me about this when I checked in, and I did not notice this info when I looked for the log-on info in the room).
You had to pay for car parked
Clear directions to the hotel walking would be useful (the map is OK but floor level should be given. The shuttle is expensive for several people with heavy luggage
Convenience for Gatwick
Extortionate Car parking charge, you are better off leaving the car in the airport car parks No hot water at all and staff apathetic when informed.
TV reception was not good
IT WAS VERY CLEAN AND CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT
Was closer to the south terminal than expected. Very well signposted too. Good value.
Great location. Nice and quiet despite nearness of airport, comfortable bed. bathroom well appointed. Nice restaurant, and room service for weary travellers like me! Staff courteous and breakfast reasonable. I would stay here again. The walk to airport is ten minutes along a well signposted route from airport which courteously counts down the minutes for you! After 7 minutes you can see their hotel sign. Or there is a shuttle bus for £3.
The meals are a bit pricey, but one can choose whether to partake. £13.50 for an indifferent plate of pasta, £7.25 for a 250ml glass of wine. £14.50 for 'Full English' breakfast, even if you just wanted a poached egg. £10.50 for continental breakfast - perhaps better value as interesting choices including cold smoked salmon.
room was lovely and bed very comfortable. close to airport.
food nice but prices extortionate drinks expensive also.
conveniently right next to Gatwick airport with cheap shuttle bus.
price of evening meals and mini bar in room - but then it is London!
