The Copthorne Hotel Slough is less than a 10 minute drive from historic Windsor. It has extensive recreational facilities, including an indoor heated swimming pool and a gym.
Score from 625 reviews Good
In the heart of Slough, next to the train station, this hotel has spacious, thoughtfully decorated bedrooms. The Slough Trading Estate, the largest in the UK, is a mere 2 miles away.
Score from 585 reviews Good
The hotel is near the M4 highway, close to Legoland and Thorpe Park, and only 4.5 miles from Windsor. Slough Train Station (with direct services to London) is within walking distance of the property.
Score from 521 reviews Very good
With a restaurant, pizzeria and bar, and a health club, the Heathrow/Windsor Marriott Hotel is a quarter mile from the M4 highway and 4 miles from Heathrow Airport.
Score from 654 reviews Very good
The hotel could do with a major up date. Went up to the 5th floor which had a strong smell of cigarettes
Really felt comfortable here staff were great and beds are amazing breakfast was a good variety as well
Location was good for where I was working.
Finding a used condom stuck to the lid of the bathroom pedal bin.
Location, ideal for Windsor
We paid in full on our arrival yet they deducted a further payment after we left. Took an email and 2 phone calls and even then, the manager wanted me to call back the next morning as it was 'better for them'!! he did eventually refund whilst I waited - over 25 mins on the phone. It could have been a genuine mistake but it was not resolved on my first request, I didn't get a call back when they promised they would.....
It was clean and easy to get to from the motorway without having to fight your way into Slough.... Room was big and had all the usual amenities as listed on the site.
I like that Its nearer to Slough Shopping Centre
Manner of approach concerning online booking Was issued a ticket through post for parking car which has been cancelled
The staff were very good
The bathrooms were old
The staff were very friendly and my stay was very pleasant
The standard of cleanliness was not existing in the bathroom ... We stayed two nights , we arrived at nearly midnight but as we were there for a funeral, we clearly had other priorities on our mind .. We presumed the bathroom would have been cleaned on the second day of our stay ... How wrong we were ! This hotel is clearly a franchise as it is certainly not anywhere near the standards that we have become accustomed to within the Holiday Inn group. The fact that we arrived at nearly midnight due to the distance we had to travel and poor weather - we expected , as in previous Holiday Inn stays, room service would have been available for very late arrivals .... No room service.... The two days we attended breakfast - we kept being asked throughout the breakfast ' are you finished' - it was clear we were being rushed out of the breakfast room, even although it was only 0850 each morning ... Very very poor service overall
Very good price for two double bed room. Comfy bed and choice of pillows.
Bathroom needs a refurbishment and it showed in scratched plastic basin and stained toilet. Car park entrance needs a resurface.
Beds very comfy Free internet They let us have rooms for an extra hour & sit in lounge after checking out as we had time to kill.
Had to pay for parking & spaces very small . Lots of parts of the breakfast were already gone - & not replaced when we came down - even though we came about half way through sitting (ie not at the last minute).
Staff all very helpful. Comfortable bed/pillows. Value for money.
Windsor is misleading. No drawers in rooms which didn't really matter to us as only stayed one night but would be annoying if the stay was longer.
Nothing to dislike
Lay out of bathroom was stupid Hand soap left empty Noise from lift with room near squeaking Guests having to ask for milk/ cream ect
2 double bed in each room. will definitely book again!
They charged us for an extra room, even though we have only booked 4, they charged for 5, very upsetting.
Location & value for money. Great shower.
Registered my car for overnight stay only to be hit with a £100 parking surcharge from their automatic system ten days later. Not impressed!
staff efficient, nice and well trained, clean room, good facility
internet a bit slow
It was affordable parking was available for visitors
No breakfast for that amount
Location friendliness of staff food
Staff were absolutely excellent, Nothing was too much trouble for them.cannit recommend highly enough. This hotel has superb customer care skills.....
Bed was a bit lumpy,
The staff were very polite and my stay was made very enjoyable
We loved the upgrade we were treated to by a wonderful young lady called Gertie. She was most helpful and polite and very eager to please us.As I am a light sleeper and there were children in the hotel we were given an executive suite upgrade. The proximity of this hotel to the airport was our main reason for choosing this Hotel.Staff in the restaurant were polite and the food was tasty too.All in all a good stay.
The gentleman on the bar called Jose was a very pompous and kept us waiting for quite some time. he was missing from the bar when we arrived and then when we asked to read the tasting notes of a bottle of wine he became even less interested in serving us.We also asked for a match at 5.45pm to light the t. light candle on our table and were told that the candle is not lit till 6pm!However we lit it early to create a cheery atmosphere. He needs to take hospitality lessons as his attitude was not the best and he let an otherwise enjoyable stay down with his offhand manner.
