Staff were friendly and helpful on desk.Staff who made up sofa beds after our arrival were very friendly and apologetic that it hadn't been done before.. Clean. There were several Christmas parties happening,but no disturbance,which was good as accompanying athletics team to National Cross Country Competition. Restaurant area was very pleasant and relaxed. Felt that the restaurant staff were unprepared for number of guests staying,seemed understaffed and stressed- rushing around.Food was good though buffet was cold.One staff member needed some hints on personal hygiene - ie.washing. Breakfast was plentiful - though things like bowls not there,no orange juice available,waiting for baked beans ,no cups on the table made it a little frustrating.

The price was fantastic, the rooms spacious, clean and well equipped. Staff helpful and couteous. Food excellent( including cooking a meal for us not listed on the menu). Room quiet, beds comfortable and bathroom showers fantastic. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Cna be a bit awkward if you approach from the wrong direction on the duel carriageway.

I booked two nights at holiday inn for me and my husband as I was craving for a weekend away, just the two of us. I booked this hotel as the prices seemed reasonable. I was very impressed with the hotel. We were always greeted with a smile and a "hello", always left with a "have a good day" . the staff were extremely helpful, so much so that one member even gave us his toothpaste as we had forgotten ours and the hotel had run out! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some privacy. the breakfast wasn't very varied but it was enough, the location would suit anyone with a vehicle willing to drive a bit. A wider variety for breakfast would have gone down well!

I was there for business purposes. It's location was good for access to main routes into Birmingham and Coventry. Hotel was clean parking good and travelling alone I felt safe. Breakfast was a little disappointing. The quality of food could have been better.
