Score from 31 reviews Fabulous
All personnel very helpful and kind.
Bathroom desperate for shelves and /hooks for shaving/makeup/change of clothing.
Location, big wide bed.
Litter all over the car park on entry, only one bedside table and lamp for a king size double bed, soulless
Location.cleanliness of room.large comfortable bed compensated for noise.
Asked for a quiet room but was given one for two nights that was at end of corridor near a road, did not have time to complain after first night.because it was warm than we needed the windows open which increased problem, ,
Very convenient for my travel needs Easily accessible
Inflexible breakfast offer. I don't require a huge breakfast. I should have liked to be able to choose a simple meal and pay accordingly
Would have liked a family room Given the furthest room from reception despite a 2 night stay locked out of my room on my return 2nd night.
Friendly staff, large bedrooms, comfortable beds, very convenient location, a good place to stay, excellent value for money
Seats right outside the main entrance is a bit odd as you're in the car park, and when people are sitting smoking, you walk through their smoke to get to reception. The ashtrays & litter bins were full when we arrived, so not a good first impression. The room was clean but very dated. Needs a good refurb!
Very good, but it was only a one night stay. No grumbles at all, it was good and would be recommended if need be.
Very easy to find, friendly staff, excellent breakfast
I encountered staff in reception, the restaurant and a couple of members of the cleaning team. Without fail they were friendly, courteous and helpful. Breakfast and dinners were well-cooked and of good quality - I was surprised how quiet the dining area was during our stay.
Shower with temp settings and instant hot water
Towels were thin and rough
Very pleasantly surprised all round
Little bit noisy as I was roadside, but still slept well.
Staff - very helpful and addressed queries and concerns well. They sorted out the lack of bedside table and lack of lamp situation quickly. They also sorted out the noisy guests in the room next to ours (loud screaming and other noises going on for over half an hour after midnight). Breakfast was good with much choice.
*No bedside table and lamp on one side of the double bed. *TV was a little temperamental. *Disappointed that there was a charge for wifi - should be automatic connection. *Doors closing was noisy and banging during the night.
I requested 2 rooms on ground floor for elderly residents & you very kindly obliged
It was fairly quiet, the staff were friendly.
The prices for food were high. I walked to the Toby Carvery 10 minutes away and got breakfast for £3.99, the cost in the Hotel was much higher. I live in Asia and found the rooms cold, the heating was turned off because it's now "British Summertime "
the rooms were spotless the bed was like sleeping on a cloud, the Breakfast was freshly made and massive, well done to you all
stopped serving at 10pm, just before we arrived, I think if you could stretch to 10.30 you would gain a lot more satisfied customers.
Hotel room was lovely a clean and bed was very comfortable and staff was nice and pleasant
No leisure facilities on site
It's a real joy to arrive to such friendly, helpful and welcoming staff at the end of a long day; and the facilities are excellent. Very convenient for anywhere east of Ipswich.
The first room we was give had dirty laundry in it.We changed rooms. The second room, dirty bedding the toilet didn't flush and the mattress was a disgrace.
Very helpful staff.
The water pressure kept disappearing and had to be continually reset via a phone call to reception.
very helpful staff ; nice spacious room.
Clean, good location, comfortable bedroom, good breakfast, nice staff.Good value for money.
Cost of Wifi (13£ for 24hours) found prohibitive, as in numerous other hotels.
With our 2 nights costing over £100 I was a bit disappointed having to pay another £9.99 each for breakfast although it was a very good breakfast. I was very disappointed also that we had to pay for Wi-Fi, why being such a big chain do you not have free Wi-Fi for guests like Best Western.
