The hotel was tucked away on a trading estate, which was fine for us as we were staying during the weekend. Friendly staff, although it was clear that they were running on as few staff as possible! Comfortable and clean room. It didn't exceed expectations or disappoint. Fine for somewhere to put your head after a night of partying!

We'd originally booked the Ramada in this city through Booking.com but it was so disgusting, we checked out and went back to Booking to find another hotel. The staff at the Holiday Inn couldn't have been more helpful and we were very happy to have booked it.

We have stayed in many hotels in the area and found this to be the best ie. Room/bed size, tea facilities in room, good towels, glasses, clean, good size bathroom, well equiped room, friendly staff, comfortable lounge and bar, good value restaurant and location was quieter than being in town centre. We have only one complaint and would like this forwarded to the actual hotel. We ordered four glasses of wine and one coffee on the Sunday evening and at the end of the night were presented with a bill of over 30 pounds! This we found totally excessive! We had ordered House White which they didnt have and suggested Rose instead which was fine, but were not given the prices before ordering. Even so, this price is ridiculous.

Very convenient for both Warwick and Coventry as well as Leamington Spa. Small but well equipped fitness room. Clean and tidy Outlook. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of car parking space but not overlooked by reception with no apparent cctv leaving cars vulnerable overnight.

The reception on arrival was good. We were told there was a wedding going on that may be noisy in the late evening. We were therefore offered a room a long away from the noise. Our bed was comfortable and we were not at all disturbed by noise. We thought it was odd that a maid would enter our room at 8.25 am on a morning when we were getting ready to go down for breakfast. Why she did not knock first seems strange. It was not, but could have been, compromising! That is not acceptable. The two staff on duty at breakfast were disinterested. The eggs ran out, but they were unaware of it. The room was not busy, but they were not remotely attentive, and took every request, ie could we have some more tea, as if we were a nuisance. The breakfast itself was fine.

I was very disappointed with the hotel. I have stayed in Holiday Inn hotels in the past and this one in particular should not be within the chain. There are other competing chains of road hotels which are better priced and offer much better value for money. It's very expensive for what it is. I did not like the bathroom in particular. Not clean enough.

The hotel room was neat and clean. The service from 95% of the staff was excellent. The location is a bit far from town. You have to have a car which means you have to find parking in town.

The location of the hotel is very convenient and this is probably why the hotel is so busy. This is making the hotel seem a bit tired. The room was very average and not the cleanest (dirty glasses in the bathroom and a stale smell in the room) the staff however were excellent from the receptionist to the bar staff. There were however too many negatives for me to consider staying here again.

We enjoyed our visit and thought it better value than the Express by Holiday Inn we usually stay in at Greenock and Glasgow Airport. We were in room 118 and were disturbed by occupants on the floor above at 4.30am by footsteps etc and thought the soundproofing could have been improved.

Comfortable bed, heating in room good and adjustable radiators, free available daily newspaper was a nice touch. Good breakfast (eggs etc not congealed and warm from being out a long time) - better than many more expensive hotels, and quick if you in a hurry. Pity staff could not deliver any hot milk for the coffee though (excuse was the coffee came out of the machine!) Restaurant let down by the oldest, faded and cheapest cutlery experienced for a long time. The communal areas around the lifts on each floor need refurbishing and are a bit shabby.
