Everything was satisfactory.
Good location on waterfront close to restaurants and bar. Staff very friendly and helpful, good place to stay would recommend.
Nothing to dislike.
Very good location for bars, dining and Lincoln itself! Hotel very good!
Sat nav poor directions! Remember you have to cross what appears to be a pedestrian area to gain access to Holiday Inn car park! Not a problem but certainly worth remembering!!
noise from people returning early hours in the morning from a night out.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the holiday Inn and we were very impresses by the hotel
Helpful staff, location, good breakfast ,great value for money
nothing to dislike
Great stay, lovely rooms, great value
Location great. Good view and coffee and bar. Staff very helpful and happy.
Cost of room high and paying for car parking. Cost of breakfast high meant we ate elsewhere.
Comfortable room and very clean. Excellent location.
Out side space not kept clean in particular outside coffee shop. A lot of rubbish still lying on the ground after 9 am in the morning. No where to have a drink inside without televisions on.
dodgy wifi facilities needing maintenance
Location was excellent next to many restaurants and bars overlooking the marina if you book a room at the front. We stayed in an Executive Room which was comfortable warm relaxing and the bed was wonderful. James was very helpful on reception lovely welcome.
The room was let down badly by the bathroom which was about 30 years old by the look of it old cracked marble effect sink. Old bath with black in the corners of the sealant and the taps were worn and tatty. The shower head was awful For an executive price the bathroom was not up to scratch.
Location was perfect, drinking/ restaurants/cinema. Historic Lincoln was a few minutes walk away. The Castle/ Cathedral and we went on the horse and carriage tour which was the best part for me. Then iff to Brown's Pie shop which we had a short wait to be seated as it was so popular. Delicious
Tied and dull rooms. Characterless and overpriced for the facilities they provide. Room didn't have safe or fridge and wifi wasn't free.
Adequate with good location
Reception staff / hairs in bathroom
Very comfortable and very clean
Squeaky bathroom door but reported it and it is fixable!
Breakfast was lovely and staff at breakfast very friendly and helpful
The bed was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable
good location, stayed here three times now.
I booked this hotel back in Febuary asking for a twin room. We arrived in August and are given a double. Whats the point of booking early?
The breakfast, staff and accommodation brilliant. Would also stay and the Holiday Express as I love the fact it is by the River.
The pillows were a bit hard but didn't realise we could have changed them, but apart from that was good.
Perfectly placed hotel for the city and plenty of local eateries close by. Hotel amenities were good and the beds and rooms were excellent. Breakfast was more than adequate with buffet service. Parking in the hotel car park is a big plus and the change was reasonable for each night.
All the local eateries were chain establishments so a trip further afield if more original food is required. The city maps were not good even from the tourist information. Why do all the museums close at 4pm?
lack of evening meal deal
good site on the water front and city center every thing close to hand, lots of places to eat.
doors banging in the night.breakfast over priced. at £13-95. Had excellent next door for £4-99 every morning
All was OK would be good if you had a pool and gym,
Location on Quay. Large room and cleanliness.
High sided bath when you step into shower. Hand grips not in right position.
Location was ideal for our group, very central in Lincoln.
The staff were unhelpful, they mixed up our room booking and even the simplest of requests seemed too much for them...an extra towel took 40 minutes to be brought to our room, we asked for local taxi numbers and were told it wasn't their job to provide taxi information for guests! Also paying by card took 30 minutes as their computer system repeatedly "crashed", leaving us sat around waiting in the lobby with nothing to do but become increasingly frustrated! Our room had a leaking pipe in the bathroom, resulting in a flood each time the shower was used, but we were unable to be moved to another room due to the hotel being full. Overall not the best hotel I have experienced!
