Less than a mile from Lincoln centre, this Holiday Inn Express offers a 24-hour front desk and free breakfasts. The lively Waterfront area is within a 10-minute walk.

Score from 571 reviews Very good
Location to the city centre. Parking on site
Quality of the cooked breakfast could be better.
the hotel was in a great location and it was clean and tidy.
the actual cost was way over the topo
Staff where very helpful and friendly
Everything-Could not fault at all.
Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of room in the car park
Trying to get out of the car park where someone had parked awkwardly, ( May have been Hertz) No coffee in the room
Location was superb and it was great value for money.
Everything was satisfactory.
Good location on waterfront close to restaurants and bar. Staff very friendly and helpful, good place to stay would recommend.
Nothing to dislike.
Very good location for bars, dining and Lincoln itself! Hotel very good!
Sat nav poor directions! Remember you have to cross what appears to be a pedestrian area to gain access to Holiday Inn car park! Not a problem but certainly worth remembering!!
noise from people returning early hours in the morning from a night out.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the holiday Inn and we were very impresses by the hotel
Helpful staff, location, good breakfast ,great value for money
nothing to dislike
Friendliness of staff, marina location
advertised as wi-fi in all locations only to discover that it is charged at £5 per hour. Being charged for parking.
Having to pay parking fees to stay in the Hotel park. This was not pointed out when I called to enquirer about parking.
Great stay, lovely rooms, great value
Location great. Good view and coffee and bar. Staff very helpful and happy.
Cost of room high and paying for car parking. Cost of breakfast high meant we ate elsewhere.
The room was very good; the decor is modern and clean and the beds comfortable. The staff at the desk were pleasant and helpful, but two people trying to check in several parties at the same time is ridiculous. I like that I won't ever feel an urge to stay at a Holiday Inn hotel ever again.
£5 to park one's car is not unusual, sadly, and I will in future boycott any hotel which charges for the "privilege" of staying there. If you're lugging cases and - as we did - my daughter's wheelchair, access from the car park to the hotel is not the easiest. Additionally, one has to pay for wi-fi, or it's free and pretty hopeless when one signs up for Holiday Inn's loyalty scheme. We chose to avoid the hotel's own £14 per person breakfast and had ours at a Harvester restaurant nearby. The entire bill for three was less than one meal at the Holiday Inn.
Comfortable room and very clean. Excellent location.
Out side space not kept clean in particular outside coffee shop. A lot of rubbish still lying on the ground after 9 am in the morning. No where to have a drink inside without televisions on.
Waterfront location (though not well exploited - no terrace). Good sized and well appointed room.
Awkward to get at. Bit far from centre. The discount of 30% left it reasonably priced but for the full rate I would expect more than this. First night, room was near to staff room with people coming and going all night.
dodgy wifi facilities needing maintenance
Location was excellent next to many restaurants and bars overlooking the marina if you book a room at the front. We stayed in an Executive Room which was comfortable warm relaxing and the bed was wonderful. James was very helpful on reception lovely welcome.
The room was let down badly by the bathroom which was about 30 years old by the look of it old cracked marble effect sink. Old bath with black in the corners of the sealant and the taps were worn and tatty. The shower head was awful For an executive price the bathroom was not up to scratch.
Could walk along riverside with it's many restaurants, bars etc. to choose from. Breakfast was very good.
We wanted to dine in the restaurant as it was a celebratory treat. We were told it was fully booked for a tour party, but if we went in at 6.30pm and were out by 7.00pm we could eat there. A set menu with one meat choice...Shepherds Pie. Did not think that was good enough. We should have been told the restaurant was not available. We dined in the Harvesters. Staff were lovely and the food very good value and enjoyable. A very louder talker and snorer next room kept us awake. One to miss
Location was perfect, drinking/ restaurants/cinema. Historic Lincoln was a few minutes walk away. The Castle/ Cathedral and we went on the horse and carriage tour which was the best part for me. Then iff to Brown's Pie shop which we had a short wait to be seated as it was so popular. Delicious
Tied and dull rooms. Characterless and overpriced for the facilities they provide. Room didn't have safe or fridge and wifi wasn't free.
