Clean, warm, comfortable, basic Holiday Inn. Breakfast catering coud do with a bit of re-organisation. Not enough room for everyone in the restaurant on Sunday morning. Food rubbery from sitting on the buffet for so long. |

It was an excellent base for exploring the City of Lincoln. We very much enjoyed our weekend break there. It was noisy at times, both from the in hotel parties and from the hotel machinery |

A excellent location for shopping and dining out. The bathroom needed a new WC as it was cracked and the hand basin needed the plug mechanism repaired. The Bathroom in general needed an update. |

The convenience and attractiveness of the location. Very comfortable beds. A good breakfast selection. Excellent bathroom facilities. Staff friendly and helpful Restaurant was cold in evening, where service was slow and food was also cold. Waitress very helpful. £5 per day for car parking is high but car park is very useful and convenient. Only one chair in room. |

Location was very good, near to shops and plenty of restaurants. Good views over the harbour area and everthing could be reached on foot. Parked upthe car for two days at five pounds per day on site-not bad value really. Having to queue for breakfast because the dining room is too small. Ate in on the first night but several items were sold out on the menu. Finding the car park was a problem, suggest the hotel give the name of the road to access car park-this would help sat nav users. |

The hotel was excellently located for both sight-seeing and shopping in Lincoln. It has a good selection of restaurants nearby (Italian, Mexican, Indian) which are a short stroll only from the hotel. The meal in the hotel restaurant was good even though many of the dishes on the fixed price menu were unavailable. Staff were pleasant and helpful; rooms were very clean and comfortable. The restaurant is also used as the breakfast room and , on both days of our stay, tables were at a premium. It seemed that the hotel was barely able to cope wiith the numbers although we may just have arrived 'at peak time.' Consequently there was a shortage of items for the cooked breakfast as demand exceeded supply! |

The Hotel is in an excellent location right on the waterfront, good for boat trips and shopping. For some reason our room was missing one bedside table and one reading light, don't know why, good room with a six foot wide bed, I used the chair from the desk for a table. I will complain next time. |

Staff very friendly.complained about smell in room and was reallocated another straight away and a better standard Yes left £100 toothbrush and they said it was in the bin so throw it out. It was a pedal bin so could not have dropped in. They should have used more common sense and kept it a week before throwing out |

The hotel was in a good position for Lincoln city centre. The choice of resturants in close vicinity was excellant. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was unfortunate that during our stay we did not have hot water two mornings running. On our first morning the atmosphere in the dining room was spoiled by what appeared to be two members of staff not getting on with each other. Hopefully the boiler problem has now been resolved but I would be hesitant to recommend the hotel to friends. |
