Holiday Inn Milton Keynes East M1 Junc 14  

The hotel was well placed for our purposes with excellent access to the m1, London and the various attractions around Bedford. The room we had (54) was supplied with all the things that you would expect, fridge, tv, trouser press (does anybody use those?), two Bibles and even a cheesey porn channel!

The main problem was a lack of a lift. We were on the top floor and carrying bags up 4 flights is not fun! The hotel takes functions which then requires guests to take food in their rooms as the restaurant is otherwise occupied! We took an 'Executive' room which was promised as being 'large' which it was not and several of the fixtures and fittings were broken with doors missing or hinges broken.

All wery cleaned. L regret just no much heating in the bedroom.. Staff all nice .

C onvenient to Milton Keynes but also to family in Olney Bucks. Took King Room option but other rooms are a bit small. Room was pleasantly warm on a cold day,

What me and my husband liked about Holiday Inn was the price of the room plus the staff whom were lovely and well mannered. We had travelled from wales

Staff were cheerful, interested in their work and customers. Hotel was well managed, exceptionally good value, although we did have the advantage of a computer price error which was honoured. In any case the facilities were good and the staff very helpful.

Good location for our trip to Woburn Abbey and Milton Keynes shopping Good standard room and facilities - fair price.

We had asked for twin beds but found double on arival. This was soon changed by very efficient housekeeping staff on request.

It was the closest hotel to Silverstone Race Circuit.

I did not like the bar area being right in the entrance of the hotel. A constant flow of people walking through the bar area/reception. No separate restaurant for dinner as a wedding reception was being held in it. So only option was dinner at the bar in the middle of the reception area. We went elsewhere to eat.

The hair dryer did not work in the room I was allocated room 22

The hotel has a gym.

The bed was as hard as a board and the room very dated in style.

OK but bar shut without notice and there were odd smells in the corridors. breakfast was excellent
