The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished and I felt we received very good value for money. Would stay again if in the area and would recommend to others.

Clean, convenient location. Comfortable bed. Reception and bar service were marred by the relatively limited English spoken by most of the staff, which compares poorly to that of people working in hotels in most countries in northern Europe, and most catering establishments in the area. Rooms are very basic, no minibar, no flatscreen tv, nothing more than a decent hotel at half the price. Massively overpriced, a atmostphere-less two star hotel at four star prices.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was fit for business purpose and the price was suitable. Generally a pleseant stay. I thought the hotel was very dated and I felt compared to other 'Holiday Inns' I have stayed at, if you were to stay here as your first, you might be put off the Idea of using them again; based solely on how outdated everything is and the feeling that it is just in a desperate need of a refurbishment. If this was to happen the hotel would be perfect.

Room and parking facilities. This is our 2nd stay, really should have learnt from the 1st stay to check if there was a wedding on before we booked. There are no facilities for hotel guests whilst a wedding is taking place as they take over the only bar and restaurant area. There is no where to sit and relax and to get a drink from the bar you are intruding on the wedding party. The hotel offer none wedding guests a restaurant alternative which is a small conference room using the conference furniture covered in a table cloth and bright office type lighting. And on this occasion all the children from the wedding party running in and out of the room to access a bouncy castle. Not a good night.

Conveniently situated just off ring road, near river Nene Rooms were `tired' and bathrooms even more so! One light not working and couldn't turn off shower when running a bath. Road sides very littered on approach.

Location. There was a wedding the night I stayed. My room was directly above the reception and the noise was very bad. I was going to complain but had to get up early the next morning so couldn't afford the time to move...

The friendly reception staff The poor quality of the rooms, the shabby sheets, the grimy bathroom, the lack of room in the bar, the inconsiderate bar staff who did not make room for us, the senior manager who visited from Rotherham who did not acknowledge guests

Nice clean room, very peaceful very little external noise. Cleanliness of the hotel generally Tv equipment a bit dated with no clear instructions on how to use freeview etc. I could not find obvious information on checking out times. Also booked a double room at a slightly discounted rate because I thought i'd be getting more space. The standard room was also available heavily discounted but I could not see any difference in the description

The staff at the desk was very helpful, the room was very spacious and clean. Really liked the choice of pillows in the room which were marked "Soft" or "firm". Located conveniently to the Cricket Ground, as we arrived specifically to attend an event there. Liked everything about the hotel, however, the price was slightly higher than I would expect.

The heated bathroom floor I felt the breakfast could have been improved and was over-price. Breakfast for 2 people was the equivelent to 50% of the room cost!
