Lovely accommodation, recently re-furbished and spacious. Luxurious bathroom. Comfortable beds. Décor traditional but superb. Location couldn't have been better for our plans. Staff extremely helpful and courteous. Drawing room worth a visit.
Everything !! The staff , the service , the facilities and the food
location - very good with staff being very positive and helpful .
the price was quite steep considering breakfast was not included
Best hotel experience ever. Were very professional and helpful. Location and ambiance can't be beat. Best nights sleep we had in Europe.
The decor was amazing! The staff could not have been sweeter to me. The location is really great right in the heart of Covent Garden in London.
There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom for the hair dryer or my tooth brush. A minor point.
Great staff and wonderful atmosphere. Excellent location and will definitely stay again.
Soho accessibility is always a bit tough
Staff, comfortable and surroundings
The staff were extremely attentive and polite. The rooms were clean, opulent and comfortable.
At one point we could not sit in the bar area as it is used by outside customers. However we were given our drinks in the lounge, which did not have the atmosphere of a lively bar.
Extremely caring staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Very comfortable and well appointed room. Excellent location in London near theatres, museums and good shops
Extremely high quality of customer service.
staff were very charming and helpful
no bath lighting not very good for applying make up
The Covent Garden Hotel was ideally situated, minutes from our theatre and handy for shopping. Monmouth street is a little oasis in a busy city centre. The rooms are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and the staff are attentive and courteous. Food is excellent and the cocktails are second to none!
The hotel could do with a residents only bar / dining room. The main dining area and bar are first class but very popular with passers by and regular patrons making it extremely busy from midday until midnight. On our visit finding a place to sit was sometimes an issue. Whilst there is a small unmaned honesty bar in the longe this didn't really give us another serious option.
Brilliant location, friendly staff, fabulous food
Beautiful hotel in beautiful location. Lots of fun to walk right out the front door and shop on the streets. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
The restaurant had awesome food, but be warned, it is also a bar. We were there on a Friday night. The music and people at the bar were so loud that it was almost impossible to talk at the table. Even worse is that the music that they were playing was "club" type music with a loud and deep base that gave both my wife and I headaches. I would go so far as to say that the place was so loud that dinner was miserable and I could not wait to get out of there. I would never eat there again unless the bar was moved to a different area.
Very English style hotel. The staff are all kind and friendly, the room was good atmosphere, and also room service was awesome! We had a great time in this hotel,Thank you so much.
I loved everything but the prices, but really really cozy and classy
We loved everything about the hotel, it was beautifully decorated and the staff (without exception) were extremely attentive and friendly. We left feeling that we had been very well cared for and completely rested.
The central London location is ideal with 2 tube stations within 5 minutes. The restaurant is also worth a visit.
The double room was on the small side and was poorly equipped for a 5 star hotel. i.e. things like no coffee/tea or bottled water in the room and a small tv with few channels.
The total experience was exceptional. The staff, the design, amenities, location were all top notch.
Its hard to say if the hotel is expensive by London standards but it was pricey compared to US standards.
Room,Staff,Resturant,Location & attention to detail
Fabulous location on beautiful side street of Covent Garden. Friendly staff at check in and breakfast was fabulous. Our room was elegant though small but common for central London hotels. Appreciated the small touches of personalisation by evening staff.
Although I didnt hear noise from other rooms, we did wake up all night due to banging of the security door closing at the elevator entrance. Not sure if due to position of our room only. Next time if I book will ask to make sure I'm furthest away from that door. Also I was awoken at 8.30am Sunday morning by the cleaning lady ringing on the door asking which time I was checking out (she didnt know which time it was either when I asked her back). I did point this out to staff at reception and hotel manager apologised profusely saying its not hotel policy for this to happen.
The fact that the hotel was so quiet and luxurious. It had the feel of a country house in the heart of Covent Garden.
Extra large room Super convenient location
Room decor overpowering (red room ) Bit expensive
