Set in tranquil countryside, this small, charming hotel has a Mediterranean ambiance and boasts spectacular open views across to the Mendip Hills and the famous Glastonbury Tor.
Built around a suntrap courtyard, this family-run hotel is situated in the village of Coxley, just 2 miles from the historic city of Wells, in the South Western part of England. It features a fully-heated outdoor pool (open from late spring through to the end of summer) and a cosy lounge bar for you to relax in after a long day.
Located on the A39, just outside of Wells, Somerset, Coxley Vineyard provides a relaxed environment complemented by a central location for both business and leisure travellers.

Food & beverage
The hotel’s spacious restaurant is open 7 days a week, serving superbly prepared table d'hote and à la carte menus for both lunch and dinner. The best local produce is used, and this is complimented by an extensive wine list.
In summer, you may choose to dine in the open air in of the attractive courtyard.

Room information
Most of the rooms are on the ground floor of the hotel and all of them are comfortable and well appointed.
All of the en suite double rooms are also available for single occupancy and 4 of the rooms can also be changed to accommodate twin or triple occupancy (with one double bed and one single bed). Please check availability with the hotel for twin/triple occupancy, prior to making your reservation.
Please note that triple occupancy incurs an additional cost and this supplemental fee will not be calculated automatically in your total online reservation costs and will need to be added to your account and settled upon checking out.

Area information
Coxley Vineyard Hotel is set in the heart of Somerset, in a great location from which to explore many local attractions. The cathedral city of Wells is only a few minutes' drive away. On Wednesday and Saturday there is a market held in the town marketplace, and visitors can explore the inside of the wonderful cathedral or enjoy walks along the Bishops Palace Moat, a beautiful tranquil spot where you can just sit, relax, and watch the world go by.
The hotel is also an excellent choice for those who want to explore the local countryside, the Mendip Hills and views across the Somerset levels on foot or by the numerous cycle routes available. Cycling and rambling groups are welcome and the hotel is able to provide a secure area for the storage of equipment.
Just along the road is Street, home to the Clarks shoe manufacturers and Clarks Village - great for some retail bargains.
If you are feeling energetic, how about a climb to the top of Glastonbury Tor - only a 10-minute drive away? Here you can see the beautiful panorama of the Somerset levels, across to the Quantock Hills and in the other direction right across to the Mendip Hills, which are home to Wookey Hole and Cheddar Caves and Gorge, both well worth a visit and only 10-20 minutes away.
Another place well worth a visit is the wonderful city of Bath, with its Roman Baths and Abbey and wonderful townhouses, steeped in history.
Longleat House and Safari Park are also in easy driving distance, a great day out for all the family.
The Royal Bath and West Showground is approximately 15 minutes’ drive away and is host throughout the year to many different shows, exhibitions and events.
