Great location near the beach, while still walkable to Ayr central business district (restaurants, etc.) Bedroom (and en suite bath) newly renovated, home nicely decorated. Breakfast excellent. Parking on street (if you can find a space) free with permit provided by proprietor, otherwise free in public lot nearby. Steep stairs to third floor, but that's to be expected in an older row house.

Room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious and staff were genuinely friendly. Fantastic location. I honestly couldn't find fault with this wee place.

Room was nice, staff were polite, food overall was good, location to town centre was good.Comfort in room not bad for a short stay. Noise from staff downstairs from 7am whilst preparing food, poor sound insulation from other rooms,e.g doors banging, people talking etc.Although breakfast o.k let down by poor quality Sausages

The Julie & Wilson who run the guest house make you feel at home. They and their staff are very friendly people Room clean, good view and it fitted my purpose Breakfast good, loved the selection of fruit and the ability to select the items for a cooked breakfast The guest house owners and staff are splendid. However some guests forget they are not at home and there are others sleeping past midnight as they allow their door to bang shut on returning to their room but this thoughtlessness is a problem everywhere and there is not a lot anyone who runs a guest house can do. It is really up to those who travel to be considerate.

The room was fresh, clean, light and the staff had thought of everything, plenty of milk, coffee, sugar etc. Kettle, Iron, Ironing board, Wi-Fi, Welcome pack detailing places to eat etc. Soaps, cotton buds and very comfortable. Excellent views and the breakfast was brilliant There was nothing bad about this place. If I was hyper critical, the double glazing on one of the windows had blown and needs replacing but it in no way affected our stay

one of the most varied breakfast choices I've come across at a guest house. Good value for money. The room was nicely decorated and lovely and bright and the bed was comfy. The beach was literally just around the corner. Close to the town centre and the bus station and short taxi journey from railway station.

Location, quick check in, easy check out, huge and tasty breakfast, friendly staff and great price. The room was rather cold but all good apart from this. Did not notice the cool temperature until we got back to the room at night after being at a wedding and getting ready to leave the following morning but it did not spoil our experience.
