Craig-y-Dderwen Riverside Hotel  

Staff and partcularly Andy the Manager were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was superb and a fantastic place to recharge the batteries whilst taking in the extensive natural beauty in the immediate surroundings of the hotel.

Sole interest is to rob the customer of cash with the assumption that the customer will never return in the first place. I had a family emergency and wanted to cancel the trip but they declined to refund me the booking amount. So I had to go and stay with some friends even though I never wanted to stay. The hotel still forced me to pay for the full amount and did not once felt sorry for my situation. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone. The area has lot of other great places just avoid this hotel at any cost.

Top quality and first class service. Rooms modern, clean and very comfy. Room excellent. Staff friendly and always helpful. Family friendly. Perfect cot and facilities for the baby. Excellent choices at the bar.

A warm welcome, a comfortable and warm environment within the hotel .which was situated in a beautiful part of the Welsh countryside. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river.

Price of drinks,but this is a problem in most UK hotels. They don't seem to realise they would have a higher turnover with normal prices.

quiet spot nice scenery

Great quiet location set back from main road. Busy centre only a few minutes walk. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Rooms very comfortable.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The food was of a very high standard and our room was very good.

My only criticism would be that the approach road and car park need some repairs.

The location, grounds and food were all good.

The price for a room was excessive for the type of hotel. I didn't like that the hotel wanted full room payment before the stay was completed.

Small, cramped room which was noisy all of the time. The hotel is faded and badly in need of a refurbishment. It was massively over priced and should never be rated as 4 star.

The relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food was outstanding - the best we have had for a long time!

Beds in the twin bedded room were narrow and not very comfortable .The rest of the Hotel was clean and very tidy but I would have expected more amenities at a hotel charging £80 per person per night.

The welcome at reception was exellent.our room and bathroom were clean and fresh.dining room well set staff were first class.noise level very quiet.lawns and scenery beutifull. Could not fault anything.would recommend your hotel to anybody,excellent.will be back again sometime . thanks einsley.

The service lovely and the staff were so friendly and courteous they went out of there way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The food was excellent top class and the rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. Will definately return.

Truely could not fault the hotel in any way. Had the most perfect 2 nights stay. The rooms are clean and decorated to a high standard with very comfortable beds. The breakfast and dinner was delicious and the staff were very friendly. My partner and I will most definately be returning.

This was our first visit to the riverside hotel and wont be our last. Everything was perfect,couldnt find fault with anything .breakfast was fantastic such a good choice and the staff were wonderful.We had a river view room just perfect.Could go on and on about this hotel.Thankyou to everyone for a wonderful stay. The hotel is just the right distance from the high street with its shops, restraunts and pubs. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The views from the hotel are lovely with a babling river running right by. The breakfast menu is extensive from crossaint to full welsh breakfast or smoked herring with poached eggs and tomato and any combination you want.

Ein sehr schöner Ort zum Entspannen, optimal in Nord-Wales gelegen, sehr empfehlenswert!

De ontvangst en bediening was zeer hartelijk en uitstekend. Kader en kamers waren zeer charmant. Het hotel is gelegen in een prachtomgeving en het eten is subliem.

Stayed in Riverside view room - whilst very nice not quite enough for the money, shower was very poor for supposedly luxury room
