Craigiebield House Hotel  

The staff were very friendly and most helpful - always had a smile on their faces. The grounds were lovely - very nice to sit out the front of the hotel in amongst the trees and gardens. The hotel has obvious old world charm - would recommend it to all. The trip to Edinburgh on the bus took about 45 minutes. The bus stop was out in front of the hotel - not far to walk.

The reception and welcome at the Craigiebield were excellent and really friendly. The bar was very buzzy with a great atmosphere and the staff could not do enough to be helpful.

The hotel was friendly, clean and was convenien for where we were visiting. The room was an executive double and said had seating space. It was a good size room and nicely presented. Only thing was that for a double roon there was only one chair and only one glass which was in the bathroom. Apart from that was good. Breakfast was excellent.

Nothing really apart from lack of chairs!

The hotel was very comfortable, the rooms were clean. The water in the bathroom was lovely and hot. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant facilities were good and the food was tasty and locally sourced.

The owners and the staff are very friendly and cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. In conversation with one of the staff I was told that the owners are 'very good to work for' .....and it shows because the staff are all very attentive and seem happy in their work. There is a really great atmosphere about this hotel.

Staff were genuinely friendly, and very welcoming. Interesting building.

Nothing, apart from the business card, which makes the place look like something out of a horror film (which it is not.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Craigiebield this year. The room this time was superior to the ones we stayed in before. Very clean, lovely breakfasts and dinners. The young lady who served us breakfast on two occasions (and dinner once) was a credit to the hotel.

The value for money was outstanding. The room was very nicely appointed with comfortable beds and the bathroom was great. The soundproofing was fantastic which meant a good night's sleep. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfasts were generous and well cooked. All in all it was a very pleasant stay!

The premises were comfortable and overall clean and tidy.

The entertainment that I had to pay extra for was disappointing. The humour was blue and not funny.

we loved our stay at he the hotel the staff were most welcoming and very freindly and polite.we would recommned your hotel to our friends and family as we found the hotel lovely and the staff were so friendly as well,and our room was lovely as well.we will be back for a stay again,thank you for a lovely weeekend and for being so friendly and nice to us on our stay we loved it .

Lovely hotel but the rooms are in need of a face lift.the beds are needing new better quality mattresses and the surrounds in the toilets could be cleaner buut apart from that the hotel is nice the staff are nice the grounds are well kept and the food is lovely good for a nice quiet break

Great location,as we where attending a wedding near by.staff very friendly,room spotless and the food very enjoyable.good competitive rates.no problems whatsoever.
