You will be sure of a warm friendly welcome from Gwynneth and Philip when you stay at Craiglands House. Craiglands is a fine lovingly maintained Victorian House less than 100 yards from the promenade, enjoying many original features, creating an atmosphere of warmth, comfort and tranquility. All rooms have private bathrooms with TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Four-poster and king beds are available. Lovely english breakfast served up and lovely owners who could do not do enough for us the stairs were a bit of an effort but help with the cases from the owners was greatly appreciated.

The staff are really friendly, the location is great (so close to the beach!), there is lots of available car parking and it is free, the cooked breakfast is delicious and fresh, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here again!

The friendliness of the owners, the cleanliness of the guest house, lovely freshly cooked breakfast especially being vegetarian a little more imagination than most, although the meat eater with a large appetite was unable to finish it one morning!! Highly recommended. Nothing we didn't like.

The room was spotless, I have never had such a clean and fresh bathroom and bedroom. I stayed in a twin and it had everything we needed. The owner was a delight, very friendly and sweet and she gave us an excellent pub recommendation for having a drink. We slept so well and woke up to a delicious and fresh breakfast. I am vegetarian and was so impressed at the halloumi, avocado, beans, mushrooms and eggs on offer. Not only was the food brillliant, there was real coffee (I hate instant!) and the girl who served us was efficient and sweet as well - a lovely start to the day. Highly recommend this B&B!

The host was very welcoming, the room was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and lovely and warm and the breakfast was scrumpious and nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly make a repeat visit whenever I am in the area again

I was impressed by the friendliness of the owner and her staff,and the cleanliness of the room and the guest house in general. The breakfast was excellent, well cooked and cooked to order, better than I have had in 4 starr hotels.. There were some wonderful light fittings and quirky objetda't, obviously the owner is as collector, like me.

Friendly staff, good service, good breakfasts. Bad condensation on windows only one oif which were we able to open. En suite was a good size but only the shower cubicle was tiled, would be a good idea to replace wallpaper with tiles. Water pressure in the shower was poor. Tv not working on arrival, but this was soon remedied.

It was a lovely place, warm, welcoming . the room was beautiful . we had the room with the four poster bed . the detail and style of the furniture was perfect the hall, dining room ,landing had all lovely furniture and all the different ornaments and lighting made it a beautiful home would stay here again . the breakfast was a full english breakfast with everything tailored to your needs. The owners was so nice ,perfect hosts. Well worth a visit.

A last minute booking, for an impromptu visit. We were very impressed and would have stopped longer had it not been Xmas Eve, I have no qualms in recommending and will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was scrummy, whole house beautiful.And our room was perfect.

Gwyneth is a kind and friendly lady. She went out of her way to make us welcome and even picked us up from the station. Her guest house is warm and inviting and we would definately stay again. Excellent breakfast

Breakfast was great. Bed just right, lovely furnishings, plus a real hairdryer! Nice touches like enough tea and coffee in the room for more than one cup each. Friendly staff. Would go back.
