    Clean spacious rooms

Very noisy as hotel is a wedding venue, we stayed for two nights and both nights the music went on until late.

Top location for access to Ilkley Moor. Terrific Gothic building. Excellent charming staff.

Craigslands is somewhat past its best. It needs extensive updating and for that kind of money it needs a pool. Shame that the signature front lawns were turned into car parks. Nothing that a substantial injection of capital would't fix. Having said that, if you are a fan of faded grandeur and huge Baronial spaces, you'll love it. Frankly overpriced.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Quiet location. Reception areas well furnished, and a very good breakfast. Lovely fluffy towels in the bedrooms. Value for money.

    Lift needed updating.

Very comfortable bed, and large bath in Room 218. Outlook imposing even on a dreary day. Wide range of food to cover most requirements

Lack of Staff on arrival at reception, and initially in the Bar.

Liked the location of the hotel within walking distance from the railway station. No need to have a car . Lots of walks do do from the hotel. Lovely shops. Staff friendly and acted on our requests promptly

The stains on the bottom of the bed base , visible as there was no valance. The hair dryer lead was not long enough to reach the mirror! ( had to ask for an extension cable) . Soft furnishings "tired looking" in the lounge area.

Very helpful, friendly and approachable staff. Clean, comfortable and spacious room. I would visit again and recommend to family and friends.

The breakfast covered all the basics but was not fantastic taste wise.

All the members of staff went out of the way to make you feel you were valued as a guest.

Because of our age getting to our rooms on the second floor wing was a bit difficult.

Good location within easy reach of theme park(s) - One theme park roughly 45 mins away, another theme park roughly 1 hour 45 mins away. Ilkley is very close roughly 5 mins away with plenty of parking, a lovely town.

Room had a musty smell but hot weather so had windows open which got rid of the smell.

Fantastic staff, who were happy to help when we turned up for a wedding and wanted to change before our check in time. Loan of a room - no fuss made.

Bathroom in our room was a little tired, but, nevertheless, clean.

Close to cow and calf rocks and pub - 20 min walk up a steep hill but worth it. 10 mins walk to the town. The receptionists were lovely and helpful.

The reception on the television was very poor. Quite pricey and the view from our room overlooked an office and a flat roof which had easy access to the room if someone felt the need.

    The towels were nice.

The general appearance was dated. There was no mattress cover the sheets were straight on top of the mattress. It was a hot night but could only open window about three inches. The toilet made a noise due to the sani type system. Very annoying. Seeing as the room was for two people we only got one shower gell and one shampoo. All in all disappointed.

We liked the area and location.

The room had blood stains on the windowsill and the whole window suround was rotten. My husband was kept up all night by people in the next room having sex. Thin walls.

The Victorian building is impressive having once been an important local hydro. The high celings, grand downstairs rooms and front of hotel bedrooms exude quality and grace unsurpassed by often faceless modern hotels. My requests on booking for a quiet room, recently refurbished, non smoking and with a view were all met.

Warm Sauvignon Blanc was quickly replaced when asked but really the bar staff should know better. Some confusion over ordering food in the bar. Poached eggs cooked to order at breakfast took 30 minutes to arrive the first morning but this improved the next day. Service at the front desk is good but they asked me to pay for my stay when the full charge had already been taken from my account two days before arriving. The customer experience coils be improved with better general management.
