Very friendly staff. Breakfast mainly self service but allowed you to go to breakfast up to 10am so great if you are out the night before. Lots of parking.
WIFI didn't work in room, plastic disposable glasses and toilet paper a bit hard.
The whole stay was a great experience, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really good and well presented. The evening meal was delicious and well presented. The staff were really great, couldn't do enough
I wish we had longer to stay, but work is necessary
Food was excellent.
Room on second floor was very claustrophobic.
I chose this hotel as a solo guest as I had stayed once before. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and I didn't feel out on a limb eating and having a drink at the bar, nor having a swim and a sauna by myself.
What a great place to stay. Food was fantastic, service was amazing, staff were very friendly and great to have a chat with. It's a welcome change for someone like myself to stay in a hotel where people actually look like they enjoy working there. Credit to all concerned. The breakfast was superb and the highlight of the food for me,as I when I'm travelling a lot with work this is often the only meal I have until the evening.
the annex was great, loads of space, clean and great furnishings.
other annex stayers slamming the doors late at night and early in ther morning
Everyone was very friendly. The location and building was nice and the room was large for a single. Breakfast buffet was really lovely (apart from the sausage which was processed and undercooked
The night porter bell didn't work (I arrived at 1230 after a flight was diverted due to fog) which was very stressful The shower didn't work at all, again stressful. I was put off using the pool as it was overlooked by the breakfast room Lots of areas around the corridors in need of repair/painting.
Again I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Craigmonie. The staff were polite and helpful and the food was excellent.
The staff are wonderful - so pleasant and helpful. The accommodation is so comfortable. From the moment you enter Reception you instantly feel relaxed and at home.
Everything was superb
from the moment I arrived and saw Hayley the recptionists smiling face I knew I had chosen the right hotel the rest of the staff made aswell made my stay memorable
I was not able to stay longer
Communal showers and pool very dirty
Food was excellent and bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We received an upgrade which we really appreciated. All in all an excellent short break.
My wife doesn't eat cooked breakfast and would have appreciated a continental style breakfast with croissants and cooked meats and cheeses. It was only cereal and fruit which was on offer. Slightly boring.
We loved the location with it only being a short walk into the town. The room was very spacious and very comfortable.
We stayed in the annexe at the hotel and the key to get in the main door wasn't easy to open, my husband had to open it everytime as it was too difficult for me to turn it as it was really hard.
within walking distance of shops and pubs friendly staff and good food spacious room
furnishings are a bit dated
Standard of hotel was good
Dining room ceiling! Low ceiling was accentuated by patterned glass! ........well you did ask!!
Staff were amazing especially receptionist
Location, price, staff helpful. Enjoyed a free upgrade on room to Double. Would definitely stay again.
Apparently some revellers kept half the hotel up - I slept through it all, so other than some very slightly tired areas of bathroom, liked it all.
Food was excellent
Noisy fan in bathroom
Room was spacious and great for a family of 5. Large bed but sofa bed was quite small for sleeping 2, teenager and a five year old. Wifi was good and easy to connect to. Breakfast was good nice choice and all well cooked, bacon was very salty.
Room wasn't particularly clean, was hair everywhere. Beds were not that comfy and just blinds no curtains which wasn't great when you have wee ones. Doors are fire doors which bang a lot. Lock on bathroom was temperamental.
Good wifi Good facilities although alittle small
Pillows were very flat
Everything! We arrived 4 hours early and they turned our room around very quickly to help us. They really couldnt do enough to help (especially the lovely girl at reception). Pool was fabulous and for residents only so it was quiet. Our room in the annex was huge, quiet, warm and just so homely. We stay in Inverness regularlt and both our girls insist we come back hete everytime now.
Nothing to dislike!
Excellent staff, comfortable and pleasant environment.
The pool was excellent
However we had a studio which overlooked the pool and in the morning anyone swimming could be heard in our room.
